My 10 month old lab is shedding incredibly badly atm, I have to vacuum up to 3x a day if I am home and he is inside. He has never been this bad before. I fulminate him occasionally and I use a rubber horse brush on him almost daily. What else can I do? My other lab never sheds like this

He was excited to get his chew so maybe that did it.. He was taken to emergency vet straight away, everything normal just a slightly elevated temp.

A friend of mines dog had a really weird episode a few nights ago, he got up to get his chew and before he got back to hs bed his back legs collapsed and then his front went, he was conscious and aware. After about 20-30 minutes he was totally normal. He is a lab and his dad is a carrier for EIC and his mother is clinically affected but has never collapsed. Could it be EIC ???

I know a track and search dog helped lead a family to their lost dog it was in the Canine News ( somehow the dog caught their scent and came back or something) have you thought about contacting them Tiggy? I would contact the tracking club and ask them if they could help they can only say yes or no

Know how you to feel, I guess with Gibbs I was lucky In a way as his lameness never got better it was always pretty much the same except for a few days when it was obviously worse. Rosie have you had X-rays done? If not that would be my next step. Yes I think you do need a referral to Rivergum but I'm sure your vet will give you one as Rose has been lame on/off for quite some time.
