I have always had good, fast replies from the lab breeders in perth
-
Poor Mason. Im really worried, he seems to be doing so much better and then he flares up again worse than before.
-
Just found a sore imbetween masons paw that he has been licking. He us so itchy and also has hotspots , now in full flare mode like he hasnt been in ages!!

They are gorgeous:)

Hope you feel better this evening Mirawee

Aww mirawee i feel your pain. The dog world and horse world are very similar in that everybody likes to comment on everyones animals and it can be annoying!! I find tho that the older i get tho the less stuff bothers me.
-
Yep me too Is it just safe to start taking them? I have a heart thingy which is not serious but certain stuff can throw my balance off and then I get palpitations, for eg Calcium causes a prob..
-
I would also like to know the details.. X

Wheat is a big problem for my dog too, if he just eats a tiny bit he itches for ages afterwards.... I use Revolution which is not great for fleas apparently but my dog has never had a flea, derms also use COmfortis for fleas but after reading about some dogs reactions I stopped using it. I do use Permoxin spray daily tho which does flys, fleas, ticks and I am not sure what else....
-
Yep judges don't like enthusiasm Yip my lab also does this!!!

English Ivy wherever I go in perth lately there seems to be heaps of mozzies so I would check with the vet before starting them on the heartworm again. I dont do mine every 30 days I wait for 45-50 days as most pruducts will cover the dogs for this time ( was told this by a specialist vet).

My ridgeback pups weighed about 9Kg,s at 8 weeks old, they were very large girls tho
-
I also dont use gloves and am fine, I wont use anything on my dog that i cannot use on myself as he has a very sensitive skin and has terrible allergies.
-
The only reason it was so much is because from SOuth Africa they have to do 7 months in quarantine. It was a long process for them and we never saw them for 9 months as they had 2 stay with my mum for 2 months as there was no space in the quarantine for them and then they were flown up to the station which was not on the same region as my mum lives and then stayed in JHB for 6 months and 1 month here in Byford.
-
If I am not mistaken your are supposed to do a heartworm test if the dogs have never been treated before, i could be wrong though??

Evening primrose oil capsules are great for the skin, my allergy dog was told to take them by the dermatologist. You can add oils his diet etc but if he is allergic to insect bites one bite from a fly, flea etc can make them itch for ages. ETA my dog is 32Kg and takes 5 Evening primrose a day

Happy birthday Chloe

I think quarantine would send me broke! How much is it per day? Think its around $40 a day per pet now . I paid $6000 for 2 cats to come from rsa to here. Flights were not too bad for them, about $500 each and that was international.
-
Sounds like you had a great time

We have petplan std cover for my allergy dog, they have paid for just about everything he has had done includong allergy tests with a derm and all his immunotherapy.
-
If they could not be used in water i would have no interest.
