Could you not borrow it off a colleague?? I could, but that is a bit embarrassing More embarrassing than posting it publically ;) that and the bakery is a fair walk from the office - I usually pick one up on my way over here in the morning. I found a packet of 2 min noodles in my work drawer (don't worry, only been there a couple of months ) so I'm eating that, but I am so not impressed. I HATE 2 min noodles!!!! :D I also hate 2 min noodles!! Having to organise lunch 4 work is such a pain. Takes much planning.

Mason_Gibbs replied to Tapua's topic in General Dog Discussion
My dog club does pup classses Northern suburbs dog club, but there is another lady who does private pup classes in Perth, everyone recommends here but I think she is a fair distance from Clarkson. As far as I know there is only show training down in southern river. -

Hmm my dog still reacts to chicken fat and he is allergic to rice so its a no go for me -
Totally agree with this. Between the health risks and the risk of unsocialised/anti-social dogs and the effect they can have on a young pup I think there are much better ways to socialise a young dog. My 3 will not set foot in a dog park for any reason and they are certainly not lacking in socialisation or the ability to cope with most situations that arise. But most dog clubs are on public grounds where anyone can (and do) walk their dogs. In fact people walk their dogs around the same streets so whatever you are worried about picking up is likely gonna happen wherever you go! I just don't think that's such a good arguement to not use a dog park. I agree with you GR - my dog goes to the park nearly everyday of the week ( different parks mind you) and has never picked up anything contagious ( ok he had puppy warts but it could have been picked up anywhere, at the specialist vet clinic, at obedience class or at the park we will never know) it was not dangerous and went away in a few weeks on its own.

My dog didn't react to rice. Just don't use pasta as you want to avoid wheat. On my dermatology sheet that I got given rice is not an option as part of an elimination diet and my dog is actullay allergic to rice so that would not work for us and many others. Loads of allergy dogs will react to rice.

Sorry for your loss, I know how special he was to you Thinking of you at this difficult time. -
For the allergy dogs a flavour without rice or chicken fat would be good - I know my chances are slim though lol...

I have had a look at that but dont like the fact that rice is one of the main ingredients? Plus it contains chicken fat so no good for those wanting to not feed chicken. IMO there is no prefect kibble out there and I certainly have not found one my allergy dog can eat BUT saying that my other dogs I had before were fed kibble and were healthy all their lives. I however wont be feeding kibble again I dont think. If I had to choose I would go Holistic Select probably -
Yes I completely agree. I take my dogs to a huge unfenced park where dogs are allowed off leash, but it's easy to avoid another dog if you choose to do so. I would never venture into one of those small fenced off areas, they're an accident waiting to happen IMO. I agree with this, I wont go to a fenced in dog park, I have taken my dog to the unfenced ones though since he was a young pup and he is used to all sorts of situations now and is well socialized and has good 'doggy' manners.

Dont do rice a lot of dogs react to it, rather use sweet potato or pumpkin. If i were you i would see a dermatologist and find out exactly whats going on!!

Oh no!! Have u tried a bit of cortisone cream?? I put some on masons ear flaps and it helps him heaps, i know u cant put it down your ear canal tho lol. We don't have any cortisone cream. I am sure the doc tomorrow will perscribe some if it will help. ;) Urgh the consequences of outdoor exercise! I can give u some of masons Advantan lol- its prescription only and its human meds - works better than the other cort creams we've been given

Same area that Millie's was? Yes it was a lovely spot, dogs can swim etc, we can BBQ
-
For those of you that are keen, we are having a birthday BBQ for Mason ( and his friend Phoebe) on saturday the 9th April at Nedlands Foreshore if anyone wants to come down. Will probably be around 11am or so..

And that is the quickest way to end ownership of well bred dogs for the general public. Or from breeders obtaining a nice bitch to start/continue their own lines for future generations... remember, you also had to start somewhere obtaining your show/breeding quality bitch I understand how Ozjen feels, I could never breed as in my mind no one could look after a dog as well as i do and I would be worried constantly about the pups andif they are being well looked after.

I wouldn't swap my girls for anything in the world! Yep I think they did like having Mason visit All 3 were calm and well behaved cept for mas dropping the antler on ur foot lol!!
-
No I think it's Ruby that Mason sometimes annoys Millie likes the boyyyys! Millie is what I have decided is perhaps autistic. Crazy and misbehaved and lacks social skills sometimes, but a bloody genius when she wants to be Trust me, if you lived with Ruby, she would start to bore you! She is so well behaved at home and hard to switch on sometimes. You'd get more of a challenge out of Millie!! Ruby is just such a pleasure to live with, and to take on outings. Sure she might want to say hello to everyone, but so so easy. Don't ever have to worry about her Except I do, she's mummy's girl I know you would never swop your ruby. I think both girls liked having mason visit them at home
-
Hang on a sec, I thought we were doing a trade? Who u trading?? If its ruby i will take her.... Why is it that nobody wants Millie? She's my good little worker and still noone wants her Lol mason would bore you then... But i had a ridgeback u would have enjoyed, she was challenging to say the least
-
Was she a little pocket sized toller??? If so, thats Lexi's sister. Yip - the dokken was nearly as big as her!!
-
It must be something about the colour or name because nobody wants my Moo either. So since I have been unable to trade, and the fact that this morning he did one nice cones sendaway (out of a possible 100 attempts) and his clothes are only semi broken - I have decided to keep him as a potential leg warmer during winter. Actually after seeing a toller do a retrieving demo this am u can send moo this way... Will pm you my address lol.
