-
Ok i need to know!! Spill the beans!
-
Are u worried about them hitting heads getting in or out ???
-
No its not mason, have looked after a few dogs for friends and i have had no issues - it was the other dog who was a problem ( he may be fine with other dogs but he could jyst sense mason was a push over).
-
I thought you had another dog ? Is this another playmate for mason ? Sounds exciting anyway! The goldie did not work out - he was fighting mason so he went to a retired couple with no other dogs.
-
I will find out on sat if the bitch i want a pup from is preg

Do none of your friends have dogs he would get on with? A friend of ours has a 3kg dog and my 30kg lab gets on well with him and is very gentle.

Im jelous my car set up is such a PIA and my crate is too big for my car even when folded up!! -
Do not feed bread to an itchy dog - wheat is a common trigger
-
I have a dog with a heap of allergies, i feed a home prepared diet and evening primrose oil and fish oil capsules recommended by my dermatologist. I personally dont feed canned meat as you never can trust what they say is in it.
-
Vets also give out sample bags
-
What's the size? I will have to measure but my crate is huge!!!
-
I guess the size of his crate would be good

The problem is that last time there was an outbreak in summer there was apparently a lot of it in my area. If the bitch is preg pup will only come home mid sept ( if there is one that suits) so hopefully parvo will be less prevalant then. Is it seasonal?? I know very little about it as we did not get heaps of it in africa.
-
I wanted to ask something.... If you get a pup u keep it at home until at least 14 days after 2nd injections .... But now i have heard that parvo can be brought home on your shoes, i will have to walk mason when i get a pup so what do i do?? Is it a huge risk to keep walking the existing dog? Surely he can bring parvo home to pup as well.

Retrieving & Field Training Talk
Mason_Gibbs replied to RubyStar's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
In WA most of us train on our own ( ie not at a specific class etc) but the retrieving club have training days in the season where you all train together. Maybe contact the nearest retrieving club to you ( someone on here can prob tell u which club that is). -
You must love the new office!! I know how much u hated not having a window and freezing !! What would a price be on a cool mat for masons size??

For some reason it just does, if he lays on mine when i get up he does itch, i have no idea why tho as it does not make sense.
