I've been working extra shifts for some very much needed caching :D Hmm lets see.. there's a nice oval near my place, but then you'll need to travel all the way here. Do YOU have any place in mind???

I remember reading from a puppy care book that puppies should be fed 4hrs before sleep! So my pup has his last meal at around 5.30-6.00pm When I first brought him home with me, I was trying to change advance to science, so I started off mixing 1/8 science to 7/8 advance, then every 3-4days increase science by 1/8. Even with that, he had loose poop for a couple of days. Now he's fine, but when I try to feed him new treats like pigs ears or roo jerky, I start off with couple of pieces first day, then slowly increase by a piece or two each day. In terms of no.2 pottying in the middle of the night, mine work up 2-3times in the middle of the night to poop. Now he only poops once at night, around 3am. I hope it helped! and don't worry too much, because every pup is tiny bit different and I think your pup's just readjusting to his/her new home

Hi everyone. I wasn't sure where to post this, because it's puppy related, but not 'puppy problem', and it's also a social event. Anyway, I have a 13wk old Miniature Schnauzer boy-pup called Simba who's just had his first clip! He also just finished his pup school and loves to meet and play with other dogs. So my question is...Is anyone interested in puppy play dates?? I live Eastern Melbourne, but am more than willing to travel

Awww! a papillon!! I love their butterfly ears!! :p I went to a local groomer, and just left everything up to her. Actually, I really wanted to clip him myself, but people started scaring me when they told me stories of bleeding puppy nails and poking eyes, puppies stripped naked, etc. I wish I was talented like you, but I was never an artist! Thank you for the ofe btw Anyway, so I thought I'd leave the nail cutting up to the groomer and the concrete paths. I've never been to a puppy play date before, so I'm not quite sure what to do!! I guess we need a safe, puppy-friendly place and puppies??

simba was also a ball of fluff until tuesday! he went to groomers looking like a muddy ball of pup-smelling fur, and came back a salt&pepper granpa pup! we were so surprised, in fact, we wouldn't have recognized him if he hadn't wagged his tail and vigorously wiggled out of the groomer's arms! (but the major giveaway was the collar ahaha!) im planning to take lots of pics, so ill attach some very soon! he's growing so fast!

Hello everyone This is my first post after joining, so I'm a little nervous..and embarrassed! Hmm...so my problem..I have a nearly 13wk old Miniature Schnauzer puppy called Simba. He's just finished puppy school, and I've been training him regularly, so he does all the usual - sit, drop, up, touch, shake, wait, stay, leave, etc He's going to join the Obedience class, but he can't do so until he finishes his 3rd vacc. (16wks) It'll be great for Simba to meet other puppies/dogs, but joining another puppy school doesn't appeal very much, as there isn't much 'socializing' happening. Mostly they teach you how potty train, walk on leash, etc. So...my question is... What are your opinions on Puppy Play Dates?? And is anyone interested in one??
