They're pics from Ella redangel, I am just posting in here. It's great to see them doing so well! *wonders when the next update will be.,.* -
No there's no obvious deviation Panto, and I've checked 1000 times aswell. She was very malnourished but has started to gain a little weight now and seems to be getting stronger by the day. She's also alot brighter eyed, and I think we may of been lucky with the cat flu as she seems to be almost over it. Oh and every morning and afternoon I see that shopping trolley still sitting by the side of the road. I think how lucky she was Mum went past when she did because if she hadn't of spotted her when she did, Cookie would be laying in it dead now. She would of died alone in the cold, with no name and never knowing love. Oh there's hope for her yet! Really willing her to get well and sending positive vibes. She's very lucky to be in your care K9a!

adorable I must be a crazy dog lady too. Panto doesnt bring me presents, but every now and then she does like to carry a toy up to bed when I turn in. That's up 2 flights of stairs from her crate in the living room to our bedroom... (though sometimes she presents them to Mr P, the little traitor!)

oh such great news K9a! how is her back looking, is there an obvious deviation in her spine? could she perhaps have been just so malnourished she had muscle dystrophy and is now slowly building her strength back up?
-
Come on cookie you can do it! :champion: Whatever comes, you truly are an angel rach. Thankyou!

Wonder how long it will last? TV shows generally run on advertising revenue, but who wants to advertise to a channel that noone is watching other than dogs?
-
Hi, Just want to wish you luck on your search, and applaud you for keeping an open mind about a breed you had not considered before despite preconceived notions based on an owner of that breed in your past. I think it will be one very lucky dog that finds themselves part of your family.

Nice Rescue may like to know about this one too, it's a good price.
-
Panto says she can totally relate to all you poor mistreated pooches...

hoping no news is good news...

Good luck little guy

$5-$20/week extra is still $260-$1040 per annum. A week's bond I am guessing for most people will be well within mid range of that, and to be able to get it back at the end because no damage has been left no doubt would be well worth it. Goes to show how much you can save just by putting that mere amount each week... eta: this is me too if it comes to it, though I will do everything I can to make sure it doesnt get to that stage!

adorable!! look at all those gorgeous teddies! digby is such a cutie too! had to play 'spot the doggy' in a couple of those! Just a heads up for anyone that can view vids online, there is a delightful video shot of the two boys playing in the backyard on their blog - Dusty & Phoenix's blog - it is about a 1/3 of the page down for now. -
Poor lil mite. Good on you rach for helping him. How is he this morning?
-
maybe pop your state/city in the subheader of your topic? You may get a few more responses :)

Mr R asks every morning if there is any coffee, meaning will you make me a coffee. I'ver started telling him not to clicker train me You need to reverse this. Break it down into little steps... first ask him to boil the kettle once he gets that down pat, ask him to boil the kettle, get the coffee out... once he gets that down pat, ask him to boil the kettle, get the coffee out and line up the mugs...

Got some piccies!! Such stunning looking boys! -
I agree! I have a rescue and a purebreed and am proud of both of them. Nicely said td :) I take this as you recognising that not all rescue attend to said philosphy above and I commend that. I hope whichever camp your foot is in, whether it be both in one camp or one in each, that the main thing is we're all in it for responsible dog ownership and abhorr irresponsible breeding regardless of pure or 'designer' breed, and the mistreatment of animals, and respect responsible owners for their choices - there are other fish to fry.

 My friend calls her dog's front legs his 'arms', I 'prune' everything from paper to hair. Crossover is fairly normal I think. My OH sometimes picks me up on using single word commands with him "Sit!" or "wait". Generally he answers with "woof" Loving this thread, so funny! OH often retorts "Don't 'uh-uh me! I'm not the dog!", to which I often reply, "Bad dog! Down!" He's just lucky he isn't a mind reader... when we're holding hands I've often lamented to myself without realising that we're holding paws... Or I might offer around biscuits/chips/munchies and ask if anyone wants some kibble...

hats off to his 17 year old owner... her folks must be very proud too!

Soooo cute!!! Happy Birthday Bitty!!!

landlord insurance can cover unpaid rent and damages - I think it's a fairly standard cover to take that out. bond is usually enough to pay the excess on a claim.
