  2. Mr order just arrived!!! I ordered a few more things the day my first order arrived... and it only just got here today!!
  3. I feel sick... I have frequented this park with my dog when I lived in Annandale.
  4. Have you had any luck with this? If not I know a few people in Manly, though not dog people. I'm sure I could find someone to help with some guidance on what to look for.
  5. I saw that and went hunting for the news. Never met your Bison but am genuinely sad to hear. Take care of yourself and your close ones. Kudos to you for the good turn you're paying forward in his name.

  11. https://www.purina.com.au/bark-in-the-park/events-sydney.ashx Cant seem to copy and paste from the page (i am on mobile), best I could do was a screenshot. Its oct 27 this year, but at the domain which is a bit rubbish for parking, esp as ppl want to take their dogs... Pretty sure they're not allowed to walk through the botanical gardens either? Someone correct me if I am wrong. Last year at camperdown was pretty good.
  12. sirius cove isn't bad, but bayview is the premier dog beach in sydney! there is also a coin op dog wash nearby (if there isnt a mobile dog wash at bayview already! I think they do wknds) they used to be called scrub-a-dub-dog, but they've been bought out and now called total dog: http://www.totaldog.biz/diy-dog-wash
  13. Hi You may get a few more hits/returns if you can post the location / general area? eta, saw that you had sorry, have sent the information onwards to spread the word. good luck!
  14. Have they tried the pounds and put posters up? Dont forget send posters to the vets too. I he has wandered could he have crossed council jurisdictions? There are a few pounds to check. Good luck, I hope he finds his way home soon.
  15. I came in here thinking yes of course they can... I was just teaching fur-panto to 'spin' over the wknd, she is nearly 10... then... I saw the word cat. I am keeping a keen eye on this thread as she is highly cat reactive and would dearly love to desensitise her to cats but can't see it happening for her. Being in sydney, I hope the owner is in a place where a cattery can be installed or the cats can have their own rooms and vice versa. Best of luck to them, great to hear they're looking for a solution first.

  17. I don't think it gets any easier each time for foster carers, you just get better at dealing with those emotions I think. He's truly had the best brought out in him by you, well done. (we need a hats off emoticon here)

expressing condolences as other DOLers have done better than I could. I won't ever forget your gorgeous pyjamas, and all your antics. Hugs to you and yours Teebs
  19. That's what I think! He'll only need to be told once that he can go up and I'm sure he'll remember forever :D I took this approach with Coop... he was a ball of beans... the look on his face when the family we found for him was going to allow him couch and bed priveliges was priceless, the fact he was super duper happy there made it easier to leave without him knowing he was going to be better than alright..!
  20. It is always easier to allow new priveliges than to take them away - a gift to betow upon Ollie's new family, that they get to give to him.
