I saw this come up on my FB feed this morning from a friend - I think it makes a lot of sense, but haven't given it a lot of thought. Wondering if anyone else has come across it and what you think? (I did a search to see if there was a previous thread or mention but couldn't find anything, happy to be corrected if this has already been discussed! Thanks)

I hate it when fur-Panto DOL hijacks me.

all good guys :)

 just saw what you were referring to. don't be too quick to lump people in the forum police bucket don, leave that to the OP.

course I wasn't! just deserves more views and participation! for me my girl fear barks at fireworks and during thunderstorms. It's only annoying because I can't make it better for her (tried many things, trawled many anxiety threads etc), she gets rather anxious.

this thread deserves to be in general, rather than OT!

Panto replied to Kirislin's topic in General Dog Discussion
After sticky lint roller, put on some rubber gloves and wet them, use your hands / fingers to comb out hair stuck in the carpet/upholstery weave. Lint roller again... -

A Second Syd Series- Your Suggestions Please
Panto replied to Cosmolo's topic in Dog Rescue (General Rescue Discussion)
'So your dog ignores your commands'. I am forever coming across owners saying their dog has a mind of their own and doesnt listen (and it turns out to be simple things where owner is at fault for poor directionand incorrect signalling etc). -
Love the pics on the outings!

I'm having trouble getting my photos off the memory card! I will have to try again when I get home. Even trying to use the camera connection kit for the ipad, and it's not recognising the device! (Have used it before and it worked fine). So... my first photo is still yet to come..! :p sorry! Loving the pics coming in though. I've updated the first post to include ktig and impatiens ( )

Blankets / Towels Need New Home
Panto replied to Brockstar's topic in Dog Rescue (General Rescue Discussion)
The local pound would be a good option - additionally sydney dogs/cats home is probably a little bit further but another option. Good on you for remembering the needy ones :) -

what a fruitloop. you didn't even have anything to do with the fact he didn't have his dog registered, you only reported dog not being on lead etc. Even if he tried, all the other neighbours are on my side. To show how petty he is, I have put a bowl of water for the birds because they are thirsty, the last two days, he has emptied the bowl & thrown it into the bushes, the guy is a sociopath. definitely loopy... and the birds miss out. Is there anywhere else you could put the bowl? my first thought was to put vaseline or some sort of grease on the outside of the bowl so he will get dirty hands for his efforts and the birds get water, but if he is this loopy it's not really worth antagonising him.
