After a prolonged bout of stomach upsets for my girl my vet recommended I give her Yakult. After that I gave her Inner Health Plus.

Molly is like a lizard, her tongue never stops so she has a command No licking.

I have both and always thought I would always want the status quo. But my cats are now nearly 16 and both have CRF, one is blind from hypertension and they both have seizures. Sometimes I just think it's too hard to see them deteriorate. (Rationally I know dogs can/are the same) I think that after the day has come, I will just stick to dogs

Molly is getting a new bed, four i-squeaks, a new Kong football, more orbee balls, a new jute tug and a puppy Puppy (Cooper) is getting a couple of Kong puppy toys, a few soft toys, and a couple of other toys I've squirreled away and forgotten about, and a big sister (Molly!)

Molly has never been phased by storms but last night and todays thunderstorms were so bad, she was quite freaked. I gave her rescue remedy and she goes and sleeps under the bed (which is no mean feat for her to fit under!). She slept it off and is fine.

Oh I have managed to have some will-power and stayed out of this thread until now....first order now placed. Excuse, well I do have a new puppy coming in a few days

Yep my GSD was the same as that age (and beyond!). Is she getting lots of exercise (preferably off-lead)? Tilly has good advice - make her work for everything. And as above, lots of mental work. You can even try scattering her meals on the lawn so she has to hunt for it. Good luck, it will get better with perseverance ETA: the clothesline part - I used to have to hand everything so nothing was in reach - a pain but she couldn't get to it.

That's such a shame about the stigma (?) of black Greys, our friends have a rescue ex-racer and he is simply divine One day I would love to have one.

Oh wow she is STUNNING! (Another biased person here!)

Once a day here. She used to eat twice a day but would not eat her breakfast so for about 6 months she has just has dinner - at random times.

Squeeeeee she is too adorable! I feed Molly a raw egg a couple times a week but she is only fed raw. I would just try giving her one and seeing how she does with it.

My GSD competes pretty well in the zoomie department! She may not be as fast as a Greyhound but she is a smart cookie and cuts them off at the chase (shortcuts)

I have the dap spray and was using it on my dogs collar as advised by out trainer (spray and leave for about 15 minutes before putting it on her). Unfortunately for her it made no difference.

You can also give Arnica in pill form, I use it for me and the dog!

I give 2000mg of fish oil a day and 400iu of Vit E to my girl.

Yep, my girl (who is two) whines if I go into the bathroom without her! They are velcro dogs! And can be land sharks as puppies, Molly was shocking as a pup! Keep toys on you at all times so when she starts nipping you can shove something in her mouth! Congrats on your new addition ETA: Just saw your pic, aww she is adorable
