  1. Oh he looks like such a character! I love his comb-over ears
  2. Perhaps we need some more photo's of the gorgeous boy and someone who is looking may see him? :) One day when I am in the position to have 3 dogs I will have a Grey, my friends have 2 rescues and they are such smoochers Happy belated birthday :)
  3. Haha that is too funny! They make a gorgeous pair :)
  4. I'm getting my friends DH to make me something like puppy bars but with a front, divider and back (2 doors) for my dogs. Will be a week or so but I can post pics once it's done and then give you his contact details if you are interested. P.S I have a Suzuki Swift and 2 GSDs so am folding the back seat down for space.
  5. Oh she is beautiful Is her head (in the last couple) that wet from just slobber?!!!! Lol, I thought she may have had a bath!
  6. That is really good news! I hope that he has had no side effects so far.
  7. Cooper had his first vac at the breeders and then when I took him for his second (of 3) he had a reaction. I titred and his levels were fine so no need for the last one for him.
  8. Were looking at houses in Bucasia so that will be good I am not looking forward to the humidity at all it is hot enough on the coast  Northern Beaches Veterinary Surgery Shop 6, Nindaroo Shopping Center Rural View www.nothernbeachesvet.com 4954 6258 We lived in Skiddaw St! I know being down here (I'm on the coast too) is much better humidity wise :) Wishing you great times up there.
  9. Love them all! I thought about it, but thought pup would eat them!
  10. I lived in the Northern Beaches and took my sisters dog to the beach at Bucasia (TBH not sure if it was a dog beach). The vet behind the Bilo supermarket at Rural View/Bucasia was lovely. I am packing the house at the moment so tomorrow I will try and find a receipt from them so I can give you the name. Good luck, I quite enjoyed living in Mackay apart from the humidity :)
  11. Oh the poor girl, keeping everything crossed here for a benign result.
  12. I used a vet in Yeronga (Fairfield) which is the next suburb over and from memory they charged $50ish for a consult ( nearly 3 years ago though). Poor lady that makes me sad that is sounds like she was taken advantage of
  13. Thank you all very much, I do appreciate it! A bit frightening starting all over again, especially when it comes to the cats and dogs.
  14. Bison's small cheerleading GSD team here are still keeping all paws crossed for him. Great news he is feeling playful :)
  15. My girl was on them (tapered dose) for about 3 weeks, the only side effects she had was increased appetite. She has never been a bench surfer/rubbish bin raider but she was while on them.
  16. Our house went unconditional today so in 3 weeks we will be in the Bairnsdale area and if anyone could recommend a vet and or a GP I would really appreciate it please. We do not know anybody down there so are going in blind so to speak. Thank you in advance :)
  17. Love it! The cats rule here too!
  18. This is a good thought provoking thread, DH had an accident 3 years ago which has left me his full-time carer but I've not thought of what happens if something happens to me. He was in hospital for months so I guess it's not just death you need to think of. My DH is not physically capable of looking after my 2 GSD's so Cooper would go back to his breeder and Molly and the cats would go to my parents. I have never thought about what would happen if my parents were no longer here so I guess when DH and I do our wills in the next few weeks, I had better make some decisions.
  19. Crap that would have terrified me I don't want to freak you out (anymore than you are already) but please keep a good eye on him tonight just in case the sicko poisoned the food
  20. Both mine love water or mud...they're not fussy!
  21. That is a GREAT brag! Congrats, it is beautiful :)
