  1. Stans Roo feet  GSD x 2! Fronts
  2. My bitch was desexed at 6 months but my male now 2 1/2 is still entire on the advice of his surgeon. Cooper has had one total hip replacement and will be having the other side done in a couple of months. The surgeon said that the hormones he is producing helps (don't ask me how/why...I was a bit traumatised by the whole thing). But anyway, Cooper is a pleasure to live with, no marking (heck he barely ever cocks his leg) and at this stage I see no need to neuter him. He is an inside dog and when he is in the yard he is securely fenced and we live rurally.
  3. I'm so very sorry Run free sweet girl.
  4. I can so see Stan in that! I could do with one for Cooper but sod the effort for 36 kg of dog!
  5. Cooper (2) is scared of the wind, this is where he hides on a windy day (most days here) As you can see, it's a great fit, silly boy!
  6. I'm so very, very sorry Kirislin, run free beautiful Kibah
  7. She is beautiful, I hope you have more time together with her pain free to create more memories ((hugs)) And a very gentle pat for your sweet girl.
  8. I bought Cooper with the intention of doing IPO but then he started needing surgeries....and then we moved to Vic
  9. I am so very sorry to read this. Hoping the anti-inflams give her some relief and time with you xx
  10. Cooper did this last week and there was blood. I cleaned it and dressed it but he needed antibiotics
  11. I finally got the chance to bath both mine today so will use some of the conditioner on Cooper, and I sprayed Molly with the tea. Keeping fingers crossed her tootsies aren't as itchy!
  12. I got my order today thank you so much :) I'll get a spray bottle tomorrow to try on Molly's tootsies and see how we go! Thank you so much for the sample too and such wonderful quick service
  13. Same here and even opened an account with Vetpath so it was heaps cheaper for me :)
  14. That last pic is so cute! Cooper who has severe HD (1 hip replacement already) throws himself on the hard floor boards. It drives me crazy given he has had surgeries on both elbows as well. I have beds, and single bed mattresses in two rooms and he still prefers the floor
  15. I don't know if it would help but I grow cat grass for my dogs to munch on (used to give it to my cats). Perhaps that may help to *cough* up any hairballs like cats?
  16. Oh wow thank you so much :) I am so excited to try it as my female has been a bit itchy and scratchy of late
  17. I used to give mine raw marrow bones but my male gets an upset tummy now. So antlers for them now days. My dogs adore their Happy Paws Training Treats too!
  18. Hi Anne, you could ask your vet to write the script and then you get it filled at the chemist. That's what my vet has done for my girl who has been on Prozac. It is so much cheaper to get the human version.
  19. I am so deeply sorry Koe (((hugs))) Run free sweet boy.
  20. We got to 44.9 here today I like the heat but this is just crazy
  21. I have tried the human grade roo from the supermarkets a couple of times and mine turned their noses up at it. My boy can only eat poultry and pork now.
  22. Awww she is gorgeous and makes my puppy fever even stronger!
  23. I bought a hotwire (electric fence) for my old 1 acre block. It worked a treat and both dogs learnt from one zap. It's currently in the garage so I will try and remember to look tomorrow for the brand. NB: this is like a cattle fence not an invisible boundary fence.
  24. I find that people aren't afraid of my floppy eared female GSD (she is small to boot) but my solid black male with the correct ear set...well people wont even look at him. Poor boy! I am lucky in that I live rurally so really only encounter people if I take the dogs out for socialisation to the markets etc.
