I Tried To Be A Good Samaritan Last Night
♥Baxter♥ replied to kirsty79's topic in General Dog Discussion
Thats not good hey I would have taken him to a vet to scan him for a microchip, could have been a stolen dog that has been neglected & kept hidden & found a way out.. The rangers could have at least bother to come & scan him too, low life this one was Good on you for trying to help as best you could! -
Ohh lol!! Im going nuts then haha!
-
Thanks, I realized today that we have been taking our kids to every single offleash dog park as they also have playground equipment in them & one of them, guys play cricket games in them almost every night... lol ETA rarely seen ANY dogs in them too
-
I asked my vet about year inj. for heartworm his answer was no, he's better off on Interceptor We must have a good vet!
-
I would put him on sentinel spectrum & do it monthly. (I would do mine in spring & winter only if I could) but it really depends on a few factors such as where you live, & where you go - From November I'll be taking Baxter to obedience classes, & will do him all year around as he will be in contact with many dogs apparently, so to keep him safe he will be done every month.
-
Sentinel Spectrum is a great way to cover all you need - If your dog has fleas, I'm not sure if it will kill them or not.
-
http://www.pets.novartis.com.au/site/produ...og_sentinel.php This one also prevent fleas
-
What breed is your puppy? I use Interceptor Spectrum which cover pretty much everything. http://www.interceptorspectrum.com.au/

I feed mine on Nutro & raw Strangely enough, I was sure I had replied within the last hour but can't find my reply so........
-
Well by the lack of reply I'm guessing its fairly common & I'm a nitwit
-
I give Baxter Nutro & raw

Haven't look at all of them yet, but those I have looked at aren't even fenced, isn't that a bit weird??

Registering Baxter For Agility
♥Baxter♥ replied to ♥Baxter♥'s topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
Found it  -
How do I go about that? I was told he could be registered within some other registry so he could do agility ect when the time comes, I live in Toowoomba area, anyone could point me in the right direction please? Thanks NB. Also wanting to do tracking with him, but a lady where Baxter will go for obedience is doing it with her Shepherds so I will get some info about that from her too
-
Thanks for the info I didn't actually end up referring her, a when I went to MDBA website, I didn't know 'where' to go from there.
-
Teach them to 'leave it', works for mine
-
If I'm right, its to show them that they are the 'boss'.
-
Isn't 75% a pass mark in most instances?????? ;) Only 75% is fence here, the other 25 is the house
-
Where do I find those details?? Thanks
-
Thanks, I hope they only mean physical help, I would never give $$ to strangers just like that. Can the post be removed?

We had tried a rescue GSD place & filled an application, not one contact/reply from them at all, then we tried here on DOL, someone withing our State, but at the price she wanted we could have bought at least 2 to 3 open tickets for an oversea trip, no thank you. So we adopted out our boy from NSW & were lucky the owner were traveling to Brisbane on a week-end & came to our house to drop him off, very lovely people too. Finding a pet is never really easy, specially when trying to do the right thing.

Unscented Baby Wipes For Dogs Ears?
♥Baxter♥ replied to ♥Baxter♥'s topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
Oh wow! They're just like miniature cloth nappies! LOL I used to cut up worn thin nappies and use them as "bum wipes" (when all the face washers were in the wash) or "spew rags" (for burping). Men's hankies were good too. They didn't actually make baby wipes in those days - oops my age is showing now. -
