He got Adopted this morning! He was on his way out the door when a blood vessel near his eye burst He was the rushed straight to the vet and they found a Tumor behind his eye. He was having an Op today and then once well enough going to his new home. Good Luck to him lovely boy

Hi Alyosha, Its sure does, every dog that enters the pound is put up on the gallery so their owners have a chance to find them and if they arent reclaimed then they are avaliable for Adoption or Rescue.

Does anyone else have to upload the same picture 2 or 3 times for it to actually work?

Just wondering has anybody sent an email through to PR because i have applied for a new account for hawkesbury pound and i have been ignored so far. Its been 6 days and ive heard nothing so just wondering if its me or if they just take ages to get back to everyone???

I to don't like the fact you have to go through every listing and hit edit to see who can be bumped its a pain. I also had a look at the advanced search yesterday and set it to " dogs within a 50km radius of postcode 2756 " and my Foster Dog didnt even come up in the search and i live in an area with that postcode!!

This happended to me also the other day i spent about half and hr trying to upload new pics and blurb but it kept changing back to the old one everytime. Very frustrating!

On the old PR when you bumped and animal it moved to the top of all your listings. These ones dont you bump them and they stay where they are so you then have to try and rembember which ones you have bumped and which you havent. Or am i just making it hard for myself and there is an easier way???

I have been down to my neighbours place this afternoon and just couldn't resist taking my camera so i could update this thread and show you all how happy Kelly is. Her family love her and she has settled in her home so well. Here are a few pics from today :love: :love:

My neighbours adopted this beautiful girl ( hence the name kelly :laugh: ) and oh my she is just :love: I see her everyday on my way in and out of home and she just loves her new life, her family are so over the moon with her its great to see them so happy and kelly. She gets along great with their other 3 dogs and is even used to the ponies now which is great.

I know! She has moved in and taken over :laugh:

I own 2 dogs, a Terrier x and an Aussie Bulldog. I also foster so usually have 4 - 5 dogs here in total oh and 1 cat of my own and 2 fosters :D

Another update for all the Pearl fans out there! Here she is in her new home with her new brother Duke the 12 yr old male Bulldog. Don't they make a cute couple :heart:

Thanks guys, I got this update first thing this morning so i thought id share. Hi Kelly, Pearl was very excited when she arrived last night. She would not sit still when I was awake but I went to bed early. So it was just too hard to get a photo. I woke up to find her quite settled on the lounge room floor rug. So took a few photos. She is sitting next to the TV on the cushions gently snoring while I type. Duke tried to make friends but his energy and speed is so much lower than Pearls so he went back to bed fairly quickly. He is sleeping on his bed next to Alison so I do not have a photo of them together yet. Regards, Henry

Hi Everyone, Fantastic News, Pearl has gone to her forever home Her new family came out and collected her tonight and she went off home with a 2 weeks anti biotic injection and some other meds. She will have such a great life with them and they have assured me that they will send me updates which of course i can post here. Pearl rembembered her family and her little stump was wagging as hard as it could when she came out and seen them :laugh: Thank You everyone for your support and help during Pearl's recovery she has touched the hearts of many and its not hard to see why Here is a pic of her with her new Mum and Dad And just a couple of Pearl being her beautiful self :) ETA - typo

No her ears are still the same but she did get meds for inside her ears as they were infected but she only stayed on that for a week or so.

Thanks Kajtek, I couldn't keep Pearl because of the eating cat problem but if she didn't want to eat cats im pretty sure she wouldn't be leaving :D

Ok Pearl fans here is an update! Pearl was desexed today ( she was going to be done about 2 - 3 weeks ago but i chickened out ) and she did well. She did need fluids during and after her surgery and she was still a tiny bit out of it when i went and seen her but she did so well. Her x rays were good, she has no arthritis and her knees are ok so for now she doesn't need a knee implant which is great! Pearl is really a diffrent do and i can't even say how much i have enjoyed looking after her and im getting upset just thinking of her leaving Definatly more pics to come before she goes off to her new home :)
