After owning a Sarplaninac for a little while I'm more than impressed with the breed, magnificent animal but the most surprising thing is how easy it is to train compared to what I've I've heard about other large breeds but they have used them in the police and military for a over a 100 years in Serbia. Hope the breed is recognized in Australia sooner rather than later as it's a very old breed, every time I take the dog out people stop me all the time to talk about the dog.
