Psyllium husk is used because of its ability to absorb a LOT of moisture ..then act as a smooth gel lubricant/bulking agent. Absorbing so much fluid from a dog gut MAY cause problems..as it travels thru and swells . I don't have any studies on this ..but when I first started using it I was advised by the vet to soak it first, then feed the resulting gel .This made sense ..so now that's what I do ..for the dogs and me :) isn't this the same as with dry food? Yes I agree with you on this. I have always mixed water with dry food for every pup that I have owned.

I always thought that a petition needed a signature (real) and details of the person signing for it to be legitimate !

Any breed/cross breed of dog will attack - given the right circumstances and situations !!!!! Councils throughout Australia need to be told and learn that they already have all the rules and legislations that they need to rectify these situations that the news peeps seem to love to report ! But do they do the checking that is required ? I can absolutely guarantee that there would be no council in Australia that knows exactly how many pets - and I am not talking only about dogs here - are at any given address !!!!!! So - what do they do - crisis management at its best - only deal with a problem when it arises - and - don't forget - very essential - always take the easiest way out - more legislation and rules !!!!!! As far as the 'tough guys' - they will just move on to other breeds !!!!!!!!!!

Yes - definitely - 'the 5 second rule ' is too long in this place. The poor germs don't get a look in ! The best reaction was with a pickled onion - it dropped to the floor, rolled, then picked up by pup and spat back at me in seconds. The look on his face - priceless !
