  1. we live on a farm so she is not meeting anyone when we go to the bus stop, it's just us. i was told by the vet to at least wait 2 weeks from her 1st vac b4 letting her have contact with other dogs. i've been doing some reading since i first posted to help me train her better. thanks for all the advise.
  2. i'm not walking her too far just up to the bus stop for the kids, but she must know i'm on a time limit cos she doesn't want to walk up there but she's happy to walk home. she is 7 weeks old so i'm not pushing her too much and have been carrying her to the bus stop. i just thought a harness would be more comfortable.
  3. i thought a harness would be better because she's playing stubborn and just stops and i don't like pulling on the lead cos the collar just chokes her so i thought a harness would solve that problem.
  4. i am looking for a harness for my new staffy pup, but i'm after something that wont heat her up too much but will still be comfortable. has anyone tryed the air mesh harnesses, are they any good? or can someone recomend a good brand that would be cool and comfortable please.
  5. why not try ebay, theres some good stuff on there for pets.
  6. thanks for the great replys. i definatly have alot to think about, and will have to look at a few more breeders. this breeder says they are with ankc. so thats good right?
  7. this breeder says it has pups avaliable now, i have been told waiting lists can be long for bostons. they say to feed it a dog food they approve or guarantee is null and void.i can see the sense in it i just wanted to know if this is all normal before i made contact with them via phone.
  8. i'm looking at buying a boston terrier but as there are no breeders close enough for me to drive to i'm considering breeders in other states. but there are a few things this breeder states on there web page that i'm not sure about. first would be that they are asking for a non-refundable depoist on pupps that will be taken off the overall price. this is just to hold them so they are no longer avaliable to anyone else. it's the non-refundable bit i'm not sure about? they also ask that i have it vet checked within 48hrs, is this normal? also that i feed it a certin dog food for the first few years? one other question is does the breeder normally organise shipping or the buyer? any tips about buying from a breeder in another state would be appreciated.
