  1. but it has generic "animal fat" as an ingredient doesn't it? wouldn't have a clue sorry, sometimes i do my head in over dog kibble.
  2. haha that heaps good, was the car spacious when you where in there with a dane haha Bit confused why they changed the colour of his nose and removed spots as when he is in the car he has his pink/black nose and his ears are down aswell ? yet in the other they are up and airbrushed hah
  3. www.dogtagart.com i just went into google ? they have all different types and custom ones
  4. haha that last picture reminds me of my boy he puts his butt on the outside armchairs and legs dangle infront to prop his butt up, dirty dog~! we are lucky we can wash them down with disinfectant ahha my dogs do it on the cold tiles.
  5. pro plan sensitive skin and stomach works well with my two, it is salmon based but not sure what the salmon are actually fed, if pellet/grain or natural stuff so that worrys me too but my two do well on but my pockets don't haha.
  6. get in contact with the council to change registration details and chip details, and also notify the vets of change of address.
  7. Pets Paradise - aka puppy farm bought puppies - sorry what ever your dog does well on stick with it .
  8. haven't heard of that in kelpies either?? One of my kelpies get a bit heat exhasuted after exercise and takes a while to cool down, due to breathing problems, he always jumps in the pool and basically lays on the cold grounds until recovered from a long 1 hr "chuck it stick" run what types of exercise does the dog do this with ? maybe you can try more mental stimulation, and controlled on leash walks for short amounts of time but regular through out the day/morning/afternoon for a while and see if that changes anything. surely your vet should know some symptoms of how to stop/help fix the problem or determine why ?
  9. My Father's new neighbours have recently moved in next door a middle age couple with 3 kids who are young they also brought their old blind and practically all deaf J/R. Kenny is so sweet and doesn't really know he is blind he doesn really well on vibrations and smells haha he wonders back and forth from its home around dinnner and breakie then travels to my dads to spend all day there sleeping in the sun in the cat's bed outside, has a few run in with the deck chairs but copes really well travels along the foot path back to it's home, and manages to do this everyday and has only been there for a month in the new surroundings, my dad doesn't mind nor do the neighbours as they are full time workers building their house and my father enjoys the company, as he is home alot and treats it like his own. so there is hope that it will cope
  10. Sh.t how big is your dog!! omg thats enough to wash your dog for a year almost haha Anyway i use about a 50 cent piece worth of aloveen on my kelpie's double coat, leave it on for a few minutes not the suggested 10 minutes, rinse it off, then follow up with a quick bio groom cond.. for a few seconds then rinse it off aswell. and if they go for a swim in the ocean/pool/lake they justs gets rinsed off straight away. They rarley get blow dried unless we go to the groomers DIY wash n dry, as the heat dries out the skin, but i will normally dry around her tail and spine and leave the rest to dry naturally. if i notice my dogs coat is looking filthy covered in mud, and dirt they will get a full bath and good towel dry then just to get dirty again
  11. i hate dogs that hump, it is them normally trying to dominate. My girl will stand there sometimes and other times she will warn them by snapping the air towards them.
  12. my dogs has had them 1/2 tablet everynow and then if they react to something, i have had no problems
  13. Kelpie Zoomies my boy's mad zoomie in the bush,
  14. i think i have balance and ball in this one + branches haha
  15. haha just came across this older photo of my boy macca and imediately thought of this thread. i think my boy has the longest legs in the world !!!! minus his kangaroo face.
  16. majority of puppies look just adorable! biased saying black and tan kelpie puppies are my favourite but the chubbier the pup the more i like it as you can give it a good cuddle ahha My foster puppies always pull my heart stings but this little boy border collie x is just soo friggen cute and my aunt's poodle and stumpy
  17. Amstaff x dachshund i have no idea one my foster dogs we are not certain on his actual breed but if you can imagine a american stafford build at the front, head, neck and muscles on his little dachshund body and legs ahhaa god he was a funny looking thing waddled around. but soo smart and also think schnauzer x std poodle look terrible! and puggle pug x beagle

    Filters

stupid question from me ! but what are filters, how many types are there for special uses and what are the purpose of them.. sorry from slow camera learner haha
  19. i would like to do a formal retrieve with the tug toy as in sit, wait send, etc but i think that could be my problem with the squeeky toys as she will just laydown and squeek the toy and if i were to incourage her along she will drop it as she can't play tug with it as a formal retrieve. she doesn't play keep away but will not do the "fetch hold give" in a sit position infront of me she just refuses to open her mouth or touch the tug unless she knows it is "fun time exercise complete" might fiddle around to day with the clicker and shaping today as that is what my other dog is taught but different kettle of fish with toys.
  20. my guys naturally walk back on their own accord (being stalking kelpies) which is frustrating when you want them to come to you haha I was also going to mention the food between their legs but i am not sure if they would offer a bow to get it or even lay down if that is how you may teach change of position by putting the food infront of their legs then again you would be throwing it not lureing. May i ask why you are shaping this with no cue to walk backwards when they can do so on heel? sounds like a lot of effort haha, you must have patience i bet! lol Good luck !
  21. Free advertising i guess, emails are free and so is chat! nothing to loose ahha and easier upkeep then a website even though FB is not the nicest looking site. it does the jobs of showing off your breed/s and photos videos and sharing.
  22. maybe teaching "sore paw" where they lift there paw out and hold it like it is sore when sitting and teach it to them when standing ? not the same look but similar hahaha that would be hard to teach as they probably are not awear of what you are clicking for but more for focus for kelpies anyway.
  23. My girl brandy will fetch, hold, give, Wooden dumbell, and rolled newspaper and will also perform the retieve exercise with both, but.. Anything that she knows has a high value to her she will not fetch/retieve which frustrates me as i don't always bring her dumbell to class but always have a small tug on hand or similar toy. HIGH VALUE: Tug toy, Squeeky dumbell, lead and tennis balls. She fails to fetch any of the above obejects listed because she knows that they are a reward for obedience where as the wooden dumbell, has always been my object for retieve in which she is not allowed to play with. i have tried to do the clicker elimination with these objects but she is just see's them as her fun toys that she can do what ever with. Is there a way to teach her to fetch these items???
