I didn't get a urn, Misty came back in a nice box , I could have got a urn , not my thing really so decided plain dog plain packaging lol, she used to love sitting just inside the door and scare the crap out of door salesmen by barking just as they knocked, so she sits just to the side if the door :)

Just watch out for ornaments we lost a cockatiel who chewed a decoration the wire of which was copper. Turns out copper is toxic to birds. oh dear never thought of that, something to keep in mind thankyou , most of mine are string luckily and the birds mainly hide in there from me lol

How Much Training Does Your Dog Get And Why?
Chezy replied to Pretty Miss Emma's topic in Training / Obedience / Dog Sports
depends om the dog Chopper is older now and requires less training than he did , he now only gets 1 class agility a week , if there was a tricky bit at a comp that we fluffed I will set it up and work on it with him, but otherwise he has it easy . Ricki requires more training, she gets a small session at home every day , plus her class , while we are doing walkies or other chores she will get a few foundation things like left/rights chucked at her . atm we are on a agility break, no agility for 2 months , all equip packed away , don't know if I will regret this with Ricki, but chopper and i need it  I still chuck in some foundation stuff for her though they get all the incidental stuff all the time, like sit stays and recalls , that is all done when out and about -
I feed mine twice because of my shiftwork , makes extreme time changes less for them I feel

What do you call 'ridiculous hours?' some nights the house dogs get fed at 8;30 ..sometimes 2 in the morning . ..they get fed whenever we go to bed ..whether that's early or late. The working dogs get fed anytime from 5 pm to midnight ..depending on what we're doing ..and sometimes they are fed early in the morning instead :) Perse with all due respect(as always) who walks out at two in the morning and goes...dinner everyone? It takes just a couple of minutes to feed the dogs. Mine eat hours before I do. I understand working dogs are fed late but are they still working at 2am? if I start work at 3 am I feed the dogs at 2am b4 I go , them they go back to bed . If I finish at 1am they get fed when I get home at 1.30-2am . I do extreme shift work, not rotating , I can start amd finish at any time on the clock and it can change daily , I could be start at the time I was finishing a few days before . Can be quite hard to manage gizzi's meds , sometimes she gets fed 3 times, so I can fiddle her meds and not upset her too much

love the tree guard dog  mine have never touched it , the birds on the other hand love it and I can't find them I don't put the dogs pressies under the tree, nothing else under there interests them I know somepne that sprayed the lower levels wih citronella , stopped thiers from attacking it , worth a try, you could put a fence round it maybe

Just When I Thought I'd Heard It All
Chezy replied to indigirl's topic in Dog Rescue (General Rescue Discussion)
I have had conversations with people ,about Chopper, they have commenteds on how good he is and good looking dog , we have had a conversation about how he is a rescue dog, then they have come to the reason they approach, they wanted to breed with him I would have a lil convo about breeding willy nilly, whihc would usually go in one ear and out the other . i would then end the convo with "my rescued dog will not produce more rescue dogs "and walk away -
awww they are gorgeous :)
