I can't hear that as I don't have sound at work ..... but I do have a babble ball on the way over from Clean Run .... is that where you got yours Tiggy? I was at the post office picking up a bix box from Clean Run the other day andthere was another big box from Clean Run there too, I almost pointed to it and said 'that one too', then I wondered if it belonged to another doler in my area It wasn't for me anyway Clean Run must be flat out right now with such a good exchange rate. Yep I got it from clean run . Which post office do you go to? I bet the other package was for a doler :D . I will have to get one of those for Jenna, she loves talking toys, don't have a credit card so will have to get dad to order it for me. Banjo looks like he liked it but the other dog didn't seem too sure about a ball that talks. :p How big are the balls? I want to get one for kenobi but I want it so he can grow into it so will a med be ok while he's still little?

Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Too late I googled.... oh well he's a beagle he NEEDS to be entertained! thats my story and Im sticking to it!

for fear of spending more money on kenobi.... whats clear run?
-
Hahaha that is classic I can see it now! I could just see kenobi doing that every where but on the pad, I havent had much luck so I have decieded to pack it in. We have an older cat who sometimes cant hold on all the time, she makes it to the littler tray and thinks ok its good to let go (if the feet are in so is the rest) so we often have puddles so pads arent wasted.

Oh I'm glad I started reading this thread, we are going to have the same problem OH is FIFO and he thought there was already issues with the pecking order so wllbe very interesting to see how he goes when he comes back. But as you all have suggested I think I will get him to take over feeding time and some training too. It shall be interesting. Oh and my small success, Kenobi slept through the night no accident! Well I set my alarms and didnt wake up for them but I dadnt hear him either I expected the worse was pleasently surprised!

I just spoke with my land lady god what an awesome lady! She didnt care about the carpet she was looking to replace anyway YAY. Have the day off tomorrow so I will be doing some training with master kenobi have a few games to play and keep im occupied really looking forward to it. Oh and Im getting him a shell so hopefully we'll have a water baby soon it hasnt been the nicest very muggy feel bad he's outside all day I dont think he likes his kenel either.
-
haha we had another go today and no joy they must taste nice! I have the day off tomorrow will give it a red hot go if not then meh we will give it a miss. I was thinking about soaking up one of his wees with it see if that would change anything.
-
He's gated off the carpet areas so he hass free roam on the tiles and flor boards so I am not woried about that we've only had a few incidents on carpet. I have a pen for him but god how he hates it he moan and whines to no end! and it does my head in but I dont give in I will let him out if he's quiet only and lots of praise when he is. As far as the command goes we have one its toilet we say it while he sniff and is doing his business seems to be working to some degree, however he cuts himseflf off half way through for his treat so I have been doing alternate treat and praise and praise and pats. I will have a o at the matts but Im not holding my breath hes still little and who could be mad at his beautiful face!
-
He usually goes outside and I set the alarm to take him outside but I am finding puddles and bombs after I take him out we spend a good 10-15mins out there and he usually does his business but still happening I know he's only a pup so I am not expecting a miracle I just thought if I could train him on the pad inside when I saw him heading towards the door area (where the pad would be) I could take him outside. It's very hard to supervise in my house it's not open plan I cant see him all the time.
-
Thanks for the feedback I will give them a call. I really just wanted it for the social aspect as I dont want a very naughty boy at training haha he's already a shit (well no not really) she was saying they learn sit drop all those things I have already gotten him to sit and were doing well with that hes a clever cookie not that Im bais haha

I got some puppy pads today thought I would give thema try. However when I put one on the floor put kenobi on it and let him walk away so he knows where it is blah blah blah. Anyway he picked it up and dreagged it around the house, so now Im re thinking it. Did this happen to any of you? if so, how did you fix it? I think I may just abonded it.....

Oh online shopping hahaha.... just what my fiance wants  Well my little darling has officially settled in! by ripping up the carpet in the bedroom! oh and in a rental, its older carpet so it just fell apart not looking forward to telling our land lady tomorrow! It's my fault I didnt shut door properly and I thought he was outside as I just gave him a juicey wing ooopppsss. Im angry and annoyed but its done now caught in the act so appropriately disciplined. I had the gosh what have I done moment but I knew it would be like this so its all good we will work through it, I love my little man even if he is the devil..... enrolled in puppy obediance today and we have puppy school coming up before hand. I am worried about taking him to the vets with only his first Vac I've heard theres a lot of parvo around, am I been overly cautious? Anyway off to do some shopping now but

Sonds like everyone is busy and having buckets loads of fun! We have been going great toilet training was going along swimminly until I had a nap and my fiance took over and we had a lot of accidents!! so back to the start and a huge list of do's and dont's on the fridge for my fiance to follow haha poor bugger more rules than the Kenobi! I just wanted to ask you if you know the obediance classes in bunbury at the dog club I emailed and called but no answer I know its still too soon for him but he is going no if buts and maybes!!! and I would love for him to have some play dates friends (we aleady have a few linned up when hes got his Vacs) or if you have recommendations for somewhere in bunbury that does, I would be very greatful. I must say he's a bucketful of fun and such a delight oh and what a mums boy he is!

This isnt so much a problem but more of a question. I really want our boy to love water, I have read several times that beagles are just not water dogs. So is there anything I can do to help this? I was out cleaning the backyard the other day and he seemed to have fun playing with the water from the hose, but then today I played with him in the laundry and he wasnt too keen. Thanks
-
Julie Im not too worried about them jaron has never seen them before and was like they have to go, so I said I'd ask around about the pro's and con's. He is such a delight and a giant sook! You had nothing to be paranoid about Ive said it once I'll say it a 1000s times, everything happens for a reason and it wasnt vaders time to be with us.
-
He cant see us when he goes to bed, is that maybe why he's so rowdy? I usually throw a sheet over it so he is totally covered and he pipes down sooner but I'd rather not have to so that. I've been more switched on with his training today as i was with him all day and he was having a nice restful day at my feet so was a hell of a lot easier. He is such a joy god how I love him.

I am crating and toilet training so far I think I'm doing everything right but I just wanted to know if there was any book/website that you go to thats comprehensive? We've only had a few accidents and he wakes me at night when he needs to go (I set the alarm but he usually wakes me 30 - 15mins before it goes off) I must say I am a little slack durning the day but havent really had any accidents. When I put him in his crate at night gosh he is a sook! He love to wine... I dont know why during the day if I have a nap he goes in and he's fine with it but at night its a bit of a drama. So Im wondering if I should start from stratch with his crating? Also Im not getting him out when he wines I leave him in so I am worried this is making him think his crate isnt fun and more of a punishment thing. Any advice is great. Thanks!
