What do you think of this one? DSC_0330
-
Just looking on camera pro and looks like they range from around $70 to $170, does that sound right?
-
oh wow more to learn, it's doing my head in! Not sure what filter I need.
-
I don't know? I think the receipt mentioned filters... how do I tell?
-
Yes I used the 50mm here. I also got the rest of my purchase today - the 18-55mm. So I tried them all out at the horse paddock. When I changed them around I wanted to do more on the 50mm but accidently put the 18-55 on instead so the shots were nothing like I wanted  then it was dark

I love this one from today. But again, wish I had the ears in! DSC_0414

LOL the lady that owns the malamutes and one of the huskys saw the photos and is now off to buy a "camera like mine" and asking me for advice! I think she just wants to get the same as me to get the same style photos
-
Thank you. Must be a brilliant camera because its not me! I'm so happy with it, can't wait to take some horse shots later on

That husky Bischa is the most difficult dog to take photos of, no wonder I cropped her ears off! She wouldn't move far enough away. But when I saw her on Monday I was taking photos with my phone and she would turn away every time - what a difference this camera and lens makes!! :D
-
I also noticed the camera was a lot slower in the dark, and when it used flash. Anything I can do for this?
-
I'm pretty sure I did lol. They were the most difficult ones.

Some are on auto and the rest are on A setting :) I really need to learn more about how to work it though. Most the day time ones are on A setting but I couldn't get them clear at night unless I just used auto
-
Thank you, I don't mind criticism at all. I am really happy with what I have for a first go :) lots of learning to do. I am having heaps of fun with it!

Can you upload multiples easily in flickr? Because I couldn't see where to do that on redbubble. I think I actually have a flickr account somewhere already from way back Thanks for the comments on the photos :)

My new Nikon D7000 arrived today and wow do I have a lot to learn but I love it already! I put on the 50mm f1.4 and took a few quick snaps before I have to go out. I adjusted them a bit in lightroom too which is also something I am still learning. They need work but wow I never would have been able to take photos like this with my standard camera! by the way, whats the best way of sharing photos? I quickly signed up for Redbubble but not sure if its the best one to use?
-
Yay they only sent one of the two boxes to the wrong place and it was the box with the camera bag and one lens in it, I got the camera today with 2 lenses, one of which is the 50mm!
-
Waiting waiting for my new D7000 twin lens kit and 50mm 1.4 to arrive! Then I can join the club :)
-
Parcels in transit..... ETA: Courier has advised they sent my parcels to wrong city so now I have to wait until tomorrow GRRR!
-
Well to get the two kit lenses wasn't a lot more than just the body but I'm sure you're right about using the 50mm the most :) Will be good to have the others to learn on too though. I was so excited to get the 50 that I couldn't wait and that's why I was considering buying the 35 as well, to have it in the mean time but then when I realised that by the time I spent that money I could get a 50mm F/1.4G, I checked they were in stock and they were so YAY!
