  1. I don't think it's a bad thing either, at least it's trying to get the message out there re puppy farms I don't see any around at all or anywhere for that matter except on TV once in a blue moon. Well said KTB
  2. Tahli could be Katy Perry, she's gorgeous but a little bit naughty
  3. Thats weird, got mine back with no problems?? I just think they are shonks, it's false advertising to say you have something there, take money and not even tell you after you made the order it's out of stock which was the excuse given to me. I'm in the freight industry so I know the ins and outs. Go to fair trading regardless how much it was you have the right to have your money back, they failed to keep their end of the deal. I bought some jewellry online, they had the decency to call and say out of stock and asked if I wanted something similar and got pairs for free. That's how you keep happy customers. ETA - I didn't see the 45 day policy thing, but that's not stated anywhere on the website under legal.
  4. Beautiful movie but cried most of the time I think I'd only watch it the one time I did and no more.. My OH fell asleep once it got sad and was so hard to let out huge cries and be quiet at the same time The sadness lasted a long time for me. Just had to run and hug my baby girl and give heaps of kisses after that
  5. I have a neighbour who is terrified of dogs in general, so how would that work? of course it's going to cause fear because she is totally scared of dogs?
  6. Yes I have, I ordered a chew thing on 14th September , I was still chasing it up in October, then only last week which is November, 2 months and nothing. After 2 weeks since the order I sent an email they told me they were out of stock and that they will get some in the next few days. I then asked 2 weeks later and no response, so waited a bit more and really got P/O'd. So I requested to get my money back which they have now put into my paypal account. Never again will bother, the lack of communication and the website advertised the stuff was in stock but still took my money and did not ask me what I wanted to do. I waited 2 months, I needed it for when Tahli was teething and never came. Well no use to me now I had to go somewhere else. Don't bother really bad service.
  7. Yes, that too, I worry about digging and barking but no issues because she has the option of going inside. She will mess around during the day but keeps her at peace to be able to go inside, being she's mostly indoors with us when we are home. I get along well with all my neighbours and I have asked them to let me know if any problems (they are seniors). Depending if you have good neighbours you get along with who may be home during the day to keep an eye out or something can help, but depends if they are home during this time?
  8. I have a dog door and an area inside blocked off, she's toilet trained, and I leave her enough to do so I never find anything I shouldn't. **please don't jinx me** I feel better this way depending on the weather, storms what have you, I feel much better knowing she can go inside, but I believe she spends most of the time out in the sun
  9. Tahli would sleep on my lap since we brought her home, I loved it and enjoyed it while she was small totally beautiful ahh memories. After a while she just wanted to be in her bed..she is now 16kg and she doesn't want to sleep ontop of us anymore, so I don't think it sets up the dog to be that way for every person. Gee'z I even try to get her on my lap sometimes but it don't work. If I let her on the bed though, she will lay right next to me like a person, so thats our form of cuddles now :D
  10. When I get home from work, Tahli will stare at me for a moment, sometimes takes a while to recognise that it's me, all I have to do is say something and she comes bolting to me. Same thing as Hanna I could be out for 20 mins and it's like she hasn't seen me in ages! I love the excited welcomes though :D She does the full body wag and licking, she's like that with most people though. Lucky she stopped doing the piddles
  11. YAY for rotties!!!!! Still the guy needs to pay more for what he did to the poor woman the ba$^**(@ and he groped a 13 year old, disgusting pig!
  12. Same! Tahli doesn't bother with the kong ever it's the only thing. Even when there is treats in it! And yes, she has more fun with the cheap stuff and the plastic bottles are a winner ha ha. She mostly loves anything that squeaks.
  13. I've seen dogs out there who don't care much for other dogs but aren't aggressive about it, but the ones that are you should keep away from. I wouldn't be risking it the dog is that way for a reason who knows, up to the owners if they want to fix it
  14. So sorry to hear this especially with your first pup. It must be very hard and when you feel helpless like you can't do anything to fix it it's even worse. Don't beat yourself up about affording surgery, it's a huge surgery to put a pup through and I honestly wouldn't like the chances of recovery, it's a lot to put the pup through but you can do some research if your up to it. I think spending the days with the pup till the time comes is your best option, or to pts in peace then take some time to deal with the loss and take up breeders offer. So sorry to hear and best of luck, you will make the right decision for yourselves and what will make you feel a bit better even though it's a sad situation. We're here if you need support
  15. Bones always worry me regardless of what they are, the real gutsy dogs always dont chew properly it drives me insane. Tahli is a bit like that with bones. Hope your dog is ok better to be safe, what did the vet instruct you to do? was this over the phone?
  16. So Sorry Moselle, so unexpected and so sudden but you did the right thing. Let it all out, you never think you will get over it but you will but Sophie will not be forgotten. Many hugs to you and R.I.P Sophie
  17. Wow thanks for that, I been wondering if there were any around what a great idea. I might be going on Sunday then Tahli hasn't been in the water yet. But worry a bit if I need to jump in lol. The exercise area would be cool too.
  18. I know how she feels, I'm totally scared of storms . I haven't had one since we got pup, but I'm trying to sort myself out I'll probably be ok knowing I have to be for her sake. If you got a loud clap of thunder then the lightning would have been close by.
  19. I really hope that family don't own a dog
  20. Adza

    *sigh*

once again owner gets a slap on the wrist. Cant they use tranquilisers?
  21. Surely vets would rather the dog go to a good home than put the dog down... god I hope so.
  22. I cannot stand people who think they know all they can about dogs and reasons for behaviour (when clearly they don't) and just see dogs as something you can just magically get rid of when its all too hard to deal with. How ridiculous. So that's their concept of punishment? end the dogs life? totally disgraceful. If they really cared they would do anything to fix the problem. I would love to turn up at the vets when they go and really have a say. I'm hoping they don't go through with it.
  23. You poor thing, I know how much it can put you off walking and feeling unsafe.. but you gain confidence back after a few times. Good for you reporting it to the police though. I had 2 guys in a van who kept going around the block doing the same thing, makes me sick but they gave up in the end. I have a pup so I didn't feel protected. I cannot stand the odd men who do that and just think they can go up to anyone especially women walking their dogs and have a go. I take something I could use for defense every walk now and will not look twice at using it, or a whistle or something. I refuse to walk at night alone unless my OH is with me..
  24. yes especially pic number 3, laughing at us I think
