i don't have any other pets no, but i do work close to home and was planning to check in on my lunch breaks and also as you suggested, take some time off work to help the pup adjust to my house.
I have read its useful to try and get the puppy use to you leaving gradually - did you do anything like this?
I'd definately look into toys and things to keep him amused, the ice cube trays and bubble machine sound like great ideas!
So do you keep your dog indoors while you're not home, or outside now that its a bit older?
