  1. was it definately aggression? maybe it was play? i wouldnt worry too much unless it starts to happen a lot, maybe she just didnt like the man. I had a dog who loved everyone and everything except one particulat man, he never did anything to him and was a nice guy. sometimes dogs get a strange vibe from some people i think, like police dogs knowing to only attack the burglar
  2. chicken necks or wings are best for puppies because they are faily soft, always supervise as sometimes they dont know that they are ment to chew them always give raw, NEVER cooked bones. cooked bones are more likely to splinter and cause damamge to dogs mouths and insides. just remember there is never a guarantee that raw bones wont get lodge in the stomach or intestines. once bigger you can give the bigger bones but if your going to give the cow legs you should scoop out most if not all the marrow, this is quite fatty and can upset dogs stomachs, and even cause pancreatitis. my poor dogs pancreas is so sensitive he cant have any bones or even treats!
  3. It is perfectly normal for Riley to eat the bones, it should be fine. On rare occasions a part of the bone can become lodge in the stomach or intestines and cause a blockage, requiring surgery. signs to look out for are innapetance, lethargy, vomiting, diarrhoea or constipation. once he has finished eating you really should remove all left overs especially if you feed him outside, a bone that gets left in the sun is just like a cooked bone and can splinter and cause damage to the mouth and insides if swallowed. if there is meat left on the bone it can rot and make riley sick. enjoy the nice breath!
  4. You can get him desexed any time now. Its best to do it before he has had a good chance to mark everything and decide its fun! Desexing will also help prevent awful things like prostate cancer at a later age. In regards to him recovering after the operation i would suggest asking your vet to put him on IV fluids during the operation, this helps to flush the anaesthetic out of his system a bit quicker and he will recover much faster. If you want you can also ask for some take home pain relief (if your vet doesnt give it routinely) this can help some dogs bounce back mutch faster aswell!
