Housemates Large Dog Growls At Me- Advise Needed !
TsarsMum replied to bl0nd3y's topic in General Dog Discussion
well i would not be going 10 foot near this dog. he is gone 1 month and home a few days?? then he should not have a dog. I would be saying im sorry but he scares me and i am not feeding or looking after him. the dog is dangerous and if he is like that and the owner knows he will not listern to women then i would not be risking my self for it. time to look for a new house then i will also add if a stranger did that to my rotti he would not bow down and i doubt yours would as well. -
awsome thanks heaps ill try them

Housemates Large Dog Growls At Me- Advise Needed !
TsarsMum replied to bl0nd3y's topic in General Dog Discussion
that is a massive issue, i think you need to talk to this housemate. maybe the dog should no be there if he is not. what happens if they fight and you cant get them to listern? how long is said house mate away? who is expected to look after this dog while he is away? thats a big dog with big attudude problem. you should not be scared (and i know i would be) to go out the back or spend time with your own dog. and i agree with above but as its not your dog you might have problems there. Might have to tell the house mate to get out if he does not want to sort it -
hey i have an oldfeilds dryer that has not been used in a while and could do with a service does anyone know where i can get it done in w.a I am SOR thanks

i mean kicked out the bed not kick out the house

This is no attack on the OP but why to people let there dogs sleep on there bed? I dont get it. they are a dog not a person. they need to learn to sleep in there space not in yours. I am taking a big leap and guessing you dont have kids? what happens when you do and the bub comes in and the dog gets kicked out (it happens all the time) then you will have an extreamly unhappy dog. The rest sounds like you are doing awsome. I just do not agree with dogs being in peoples beds.

Baby Attacked By Family Terrier While Crawling On Floor Of Home
TsarsMum replied to Fanuilos's topic in In The News
my point is that there was no one apart from on here say that this child was unsupervised with the dog. alot of conclusion jumping without real 1st hand knowlage of what happened. -
wow i was going to start with every 2h and then go up from there
-
She sounds like a very determind and exact child LOL. (my 3 year old is like this) how hard is it to get exactly what she wants? because at least you might buy yourself time and you will know how much she really wants it. also it has to be a dog you will enjoy just incase she does loose intrest. I was thinking what about a jack russel?

Baby Attacked By Family Terrier While Crawling On Floor Of Home

i think there is a lot of jumping to conclusions here. we dont know the real or the full story and unless someone knows these people we will never hear it. what a horrible thing to happen and i dont think the mum and dad need to be blamed anymore im sure they are bashing themselfs enough allready. and i agree i think alot of the problems these days are dogs are not treated like dogs. then the bub comes and they are and then the owners wonder why there pooch is acting up. my daughter was nipped by a family dog, she was being supervised. all she did was walk past said dog. never touched him just wondered past to get to the kitchen. i was soooo angery at my mother inlaw attidude well we keep them apart. never happened i told my hubby if it happened again or even i suspected it might she was never never allowed over again til the dog was gone. i just hope the bub a speedy recovery and mum and dad not to beet themselfs up too much -
i hope i dont sound rude but they kind of look dirty (i think i like white ones )

i think you are doing a great job. she needs to be set up to be a guide dog so i think that you are doing that. which is what you are supose to do. she get to be a pup when she is naughty can i say that i think what you are doing is sooooo amazing and i think who ever hopefully ends up with her will get an awsome dog with your mum well it its not there its not there. maybe she does not want to get too close because of the heart break when she goes to be a guide dog

what does the breeder recommend? you may find they ask you to feed a certain diet (thats what my sis inlaw neo had) I would be asking the breeder. i think unless you absoulutly know what you are doing i think you could get it very wrong and in a large breed that could mean all sorts issues. thing is with kibble as its been balanced and is easy for people who are not full bottle on dog dietary needs. I would really be asking what the breeder what they feed there pups. and start with that (so not to upset the pup too much) the breeder is your first port of call on your pups diet IMO.
