Hi there everyone, I need your help with what to feed my fussy dog. I have had to throw out numerous pks of dried dog food as my Maltese will not eat any. I have tried several brands and have left the food down for a while and taken it away and tried he with it again. No luck. I have now been giving her my dog and of course she eats that. I know she is still hungry and this is not filling her )I use the small disposable tins)as she follows me around and waits in the kitchen. Would apreciate your help and advice, many thanks Bonnie

Hi everyone again. I have taken my dog (12mths) out in the car again today. She was salivating from the mouth a lot. Blanket was soaked. After we stopped she threw up. She did this on her first trip when I took her in the car (yesterday as well. We have only had her for 3days now. Does anyone know what could be the problem with her and what can I do for her? Much appreciated ,Bonnie22

Thank you all for your help and advice. Lilly is on Royal Canine Sensible 30 (for small fussy dogs) This was recommended by the guy @ City Farmers.Don't know much about this brand or whether it is any good. I usually put her food down and leave it there until she finishes it. I will try your suggestion and leave it @ 15min intervals. Sounds as though you know what to do better than me. Als at what age do I think about de-sexing? I think she is around 12mths at present. Thank you guys!! Bonnie22

Hello everyone, I am wondering what to use on my Maltese for washing. There are so many brands on the market now and I am confused. I want her to have a nice smell as she has that "DOGGIE" smell all the time. I am using a home brand shampoo with tea tree in it. Ant suggestions would be grateful. Many thanks Bonnie22

Hi there everyone, I am new to the forum and I just want to know where to start with my dog.She is a Malteese/Dauchsund aprox 12mths old. She needs some treatment. She seems to have a weepy eye and needs a through check-up.I don't know if she has been sterilized,if she has had her shots or what treatment she will need ,such as heartworming, flea treatment. Basically I don't know where to start!!.Her previous owner had a health issue and left her.I took her home with no history and no details.I do know she needs a good scrub and possibly a haircut as she is rather strong on the nose(even with a cold).Poor wee thing. I want to know what vet to take her to . One that is reasonable and don't cost the earth as we are pensioners.I want to do the best for my dog from now on and give her lots of TLC. There are so many Vets about and that is a big prob to us as we don't know where to start looking. We are in the Kinross area We would appreciate your help and advice and about grooming her. What is the best.Do we take her to the vet for this also, or do we have someone else to do this? Hope to hear from you soon, Cheers, bonnie22
