  1. Try one of those rat zappy things can't remember the name of it t the moment I doubt you neighbour will want to use poison either chookens love mice and rats good protein for them and if they ingest a poisoned rat they most certainly won't survive.
  2. No dogs allowed in our local bunnings unless they are assistance dogs. Though they do give any dogs tied out the front water.
  3. We had a lady (customer) injured in our workplace recently, she dropped a tile and sliced open her foot, whilst shopping. The poor lady required ambulance treatment, she was very concerned about her dog who was in the car and was willing to forgo medical treatment because of it. The lovely greyhound was retrieved from her car and placed in a shady area in the nursery department with a bucket of fresh water where she quite happily stayed for the next 40mins lavished with attention from our team All while her poor distressed owner got her foot attended to. This just goes to show that you can't judge how long you will be away from the car. Also that big business can do the right thing This poor lady and her dog were driven home 20mins away by a team member. efs
  4. Regardless off who is right and who is wrong, opinion wise...in the end it is the animals that suffer Which is surely that saddest past of this thread.
  5. OH winges occaisionally but I'm sure it's just so I know he is still there LOL. Dog hair is an issue in our place as all 3 dogs are inside pretty much whenever they chose. I only winge when he writes notes with his walking stick in the rug on the lounge floor in the dog hair Hair on our clothes ca be a bit of an issue. Our dogs are ot allowed on furiture or beds without being asked. He does threaten that they will sleep outside but it is a hollow threat. Whe they need to go out during the night he will wake up and let them out and you can hear him talking to them like they are babies lol, but in the morning he will winge loudly that they woke him up in the middle of the night how dare they
  6. goldielover the page you put up doesn't come up
  7. We have 3 dogs 1 large mastiff cross, 2 medium 1 BC cross 1 terrier cross they are all rescue dogs. They are all on a mix of dry and fresh. I buy in bulk so not really that expensive. We haven't walked the dogs since OH accident in July but we live on 2 acres so there is plenty of running and play lots of ball games, bubbles. I have been a bit slack with their training due to rehab at the moment but intend to get back into it. They also go swimming at the local weir when its warm enough monthly. Vet bills haven't been too bad except for when rocky opened the laundry cupbord and got into the snail bait we nearly lost him buut vet bill was oly $600, money that I was happy to pay to have my boy back drooling all over me. I have found worming to be the most expensive part so if anyone has any tips then please fire away.
  8. I love you Rocky and I don't mind washing drool off the walls and chasing you round with paper towel to wipe the drool.....but the cornice really now I have to bring the laddder in to wash it
  9. Loving these photos keep them coming Mina love the bubbles.
  10. If your lawn is already brown fertilizer won't help. Use the seasol for lawns as you said its a tonic and will make the root system of of the grass stronger and as someone else said its fine with the dogs as long as you hose it in. Which is difficult if you are on restrictions.
  11. Cooper gets a bath in our bath about every 6 weeks. Rocky goes to the DIY hydro bath at the local servo but only 2 or 3 times a year. He goes swimming in the local weir when its warmer and we can't get him out lol.
