Boxer dog and compatible breed companions
juice replied to Pupperino's topic in General Dog Discussion
How does your boxer play? Are there any breeds he seems to enjoy playing with more? No point getting a breed that likes to chase if your dog likes to wrestle. My Bull Terrier loves to wrestle, labs can take her robust play style, however i just got another BT and they play exactly the same , its getting them to stop thats the problem, neither wants to concede! -
So again you are ignoring advice and are going to try another dog and muzzle the poor thing so when child hurts it it has to put up with it . FFS start listening , I hope everyone in rescue knows who you are and doesn’t give you a dog ! Perhaps you should lock your child up instead !
-
I have tried and they are too big and no idea how to resize , will get kids to look for me !
-
Actually took no notice and got another dog to try , could have ended badly for the dog .
-
Permanent hopefully .
-
Perhaps you should list the reasons you want a dog ? So far you have mentioned anything .
-
I wouldn’t give you one of my rescues , the fact you said you sent the last dog back because it wanted to interact with you and you didn’t want it too speaks volumes . What exactly do you expect the dog to do ? Sit in s corner and be grateful you took it ? It’s a pretty sad life it will lead .
-
I’m not really sure why you want a dog ? you want to lock it away from sight , don’t want it expecting attention while you work , hardly walk it , and to deal with a child that might not behave appropriately to it . A cat seems a better option .

This Tiny Terrier Leads Foxhound Pack Like a Boss Every Day

Hunting still goes on in the UK because the law is on horseback . I lived in Warwickshire home of the nastiest hunt , and owned ex hunters and know what goes on . -

At least he won’t get hit over the head with a shovel when he can’t do his job unlike the hounds who hunt for w@nkers on horseback -

I hear the cost of C3 is $10, they charge $85 , that’s a pretty hefty markup .
-
New vet I went to suggested ointment for my dogs nose ( human one ) , they sold it , but wanted 3 times the price the chemist charged .
-
My old vet always wrote scripts for anti inflams for the chemist they were a quarter of the price . Call me cynical , but vets charge an exorbitant price for vaccines that cost peanuts to buy in , so my guess is they charge what they like and make big markups , they are a business , that’s their priority to make money .

They only carry two flavours , can’t remember other one but it’s in a pink bag , if you look on the US site you will see the two Aus stocks . Fish one is in blue bag .

Always lots in
-
I empty bag into a container so can’t remember exact ingredients , but from memory they are almost the same . Look on the Costco US site as it lists it with Ingredients , $52 , for 15kg

So she will go from being in a crate for 8 hours a day to a kennel run , great . Still no freedom to smell and explore , what’s the excuse for not letting her have free range then ? Or scared she will trash the garden ? Stuffed dog might have suited you better . And yep all my dogs went outside as pups , beds , kennels , coats .
-
So she is in her crate all night then 8 hours a day too ? ( 4 hours in morning and 4 in afternoon ) . Poor dog , why isn’t she outside all day , your neighbours are up then ?
-
She is in her crate all night gets s walk and gets put back in , any reason she can’t be outside exploring ? I hope she isn’t crated while you are at work too ?

i have never taken any of my dogs to dog parks, although i have walked on the outside of many and seen what goes on,but have people i have met over the years whose dogs i trust to play and run with mine. Dog parks are a lottery , it only takes one dog to kick off and its all on. I feel sorry for the poor dogs he is picking on, not a good experience for them. Remove him when he starts, walk around the outside, take him back in ,if he doesn't behave take him home.
