It certainly looked like a stroll in the park for him! That's great that everyone passed. None of the dogs looked like they found it hard. The little Frenchie didn't look too keen some of the time, but not like it was too hard physically. Wonder if a Newfie could do it???? Definitely a Newfie could do it. Start training now and it will be a breeze for next year's ET. M -

Yes, you could. As I said in a previous post, I have seen dogs turn up that have never been prepared for an ET, and never run alongside a bike still get through. I do not recommend this, but there is no reason why you should not pass with the level of training you are at. Just maintain what you are currently doing and build the distance slowly over the month and you should be fine. M -

Just keep her active with regular shorter rides 6 - 8 k's. That should be sufficient to maintain her fitness. M -

GSD entries close on June 3. The schedule is on the GSDCV website. Don't think about the butterflies. What could possibly go wrong ? Hope the weather is kind, and ground not too slushy. M -

Hi trinaj, Sorry to hear about the ankle, but I guess the dog in season is more of an inconvenience! Glad you got your entry in for GSD. Look forward to seeing you then. M -

we know you will be there in Spirit Abbiestar :D Just did 8k's, I put the wet gear on, ooh that was fun I think less layers would be better, came back pooped, Orlando of course was happy, he is now playing with the pups Less layers are better. Thermals are great, lightweight and can easily be worn under trackies, or jeans. Or you can go the whole hog and get decked out in a complete cycling kit! M P.S. get a lightweight rain jacket! -

Hi OsoSwift, I know that presently there is only one ET in WA. My friend Jo Washington-King in WA, who has one of my Vizslas, is in the process of establishing and affiliating the Hungarian Vizsla Club of WA. She believes this will occur next year, and one of the planned events is an ET! So then there will be two ET's in WA. M -

Hi murve, I would love to come and watch, but unfortunately, clubs being what they are, I do not want to see any of the Vizsla Club people. I hope you all do really well, and hope to hear news of many new ET titles. M -

Good luck to Rachellbuck, murve, trinaj et al for the Vizsla Club ET. The grounds at KCC will most likely be very wet and slushy. The forecast for Saturday so far is for a maximum of 13 degrees, partly cloudly, and only a 10% chance of rain. I guess that is a good thing! Best of luck, hope you all get through, and if you don't, do not despair, there are still entries open for the other ET's this year. Looking forward to some good news from all. Best of luck to you too, Terranik for the Grafton ET. Happy to answer any last minute questions.... M -

Are you entering a second ET as a back up? In case she comes into season? If you do, and she passes the first test, you can still compete in the second. And the gears are easy to remember. Uphill/Tough terrain = LOW gears, Downhill/easy = High gears, Middle ground = middle gears. M -
