Wow, thanks everyone.. My partner plays less rough than what I probably do, he just wants to hug him because he only gets to see him at night but it just seems to happen when we let him crawl all over us so my plan of action is to take him off and walk away. Apart from that he's been a great puppy! (touch wood) oh and persephone thankyou for the link, its hilarious! Ill be sure to put Mac on there! Oh I almost forgot heres a pic of him! Hi All, I'm the new owner of an 8 week old male, Roman Nose Bull Terrier named Mac. I've only had him for 2 days now, but he has a vey disturbing trait and im not sure why he's doing it. I've googled a bit (not much info) and asked the breeder because he did do it when we went to view him but he had never seen a pup react that way. His charming trait is humping my partners arm, leg whatever body part he has in reach at the time but he doesnt do it to me (his mum) at all. Is this something I need to watch? My first instincts was that he's trying to assert himself over my partner but would he already be doin that at such a young age? I thought I was prepared for everything but he's definately thrown me a curly one! I wouldnt be too concerned but its occuring everytime my partner trys to play with him. Would love some advice if anyone has seen this happen or had it happen & does it need to be curbed or will he grow out of it? Thanking you in advance!
