For anyone who wants to follow Nova's litter - a bit of a change in shape between now and then! First photo taken 2 days after mating, second photo taken today at 40 days :) Might be one or two bubs in there :D

Nova's the one in the red collar :) Green her is sweet dufus of a brother, Bruce - who lives about an hour from me, with a lovely lady who has become a close friend (one of the unexpected benefits from meeting people who want to buy puppies - sometimes those people become good friends, too :D ). I still see Bruce regularly, and get to play Grandma to him :D

She's looking very similar to how her mum looked at 6 weeks (yay for photo records. Nova was 5 weeks last Tuesday. Feonix had 7. Nova and Feonix are similar sizes, both big girls. Soooo, I'm estimating 8 or 9, based on comparisons with her mum. I refuse to entertain the idea of double figures!

I'm another one in line for a Zephy clone! :D Although I already have Neo, who is a half clone (half brothers) - not sure I could cope with Zeph as well! Bad iPhone photo of Nova cooking puppies - it's a hard job, as you can see! I can't believe those athletic, muscled photos of her were taken only 5 weeks ago! She looks like a different dog now :laugh:

Yep, she's still filling out :) Is she still entire? If she is, then you will probably find even more "blossoming" after her next season :) I'm going to hold you to that promise of new photos of her! Aww tdierikx You're right though, they do get under your skin in a special way. I've never had a time in my life without rottweilers, and can't imagine not having them around - wonder if my eventual nursing home will be happy about that.... I still cry over Enya, she was such a soulmate to me and there will never be another dog like her, for me. Also - I LOVE Woosie as a name, how very appropriate :) Hahahah! I'll tell Nova to get right onto that :p I'm totally drowning this thread in puppy photos when they're born, be warned! :D 4 weeks to go!

Oh believe me, I do wonder about the wisdom of producing mini-Nova's! Not entirely sure that the world is ready for them! :laugh: I really do adore Nova, she's a really fun dog to share life with, very outgoing and very sweet, but she IS a bit of a feral tomboy. Her litter brother, Bruce, is the total opposite - very gentle and sweet. He got all the sweetness, and she got all the naughtiness!
