  1. Great work! Is that a pet snake?
  2. X trail here too. Fits my labs comfortably, and its plenty high enough for a taller dog to stand easily. I have had my bulky big pram in the back and there was still room to fit a dog.
  3. I thought she acted like an idiot. She's a vet. She needs to be able to treat all types of animals, not just dogs or cats. Most episodes, it appears that the vet nurses do a lot, she's very reluctant to touch stuff. I also agree that she acts like a princess. A lot of times she seems repulsed to have to touch or deal with certain scenarios. Surely as a vet you can't be scared of getting your hands dirty. To me she sometimes even comes across as not even liking animals sometimes, its as if she's lived a very privelidged life, mummy and daddy had the money for her to study what she wanted, but the hands on reality of vet work seems to overwhelm her.
  4. Wow that's a lot! I was lucky and got my first choice But I did do a lot of google searching of certain names before I submitted mine. I submitted 10, which was the requirement, then I had to submit another 20!! :D By that stage I was just making stuff up. Luckily I got the only name I actually liked from my second lot.
  5. Check with Aussielover. She has a guide dog labby pup at the moment.
  6. RIP Sophie. So sorry for what has happened Moselle. Sending hugs your way.
  7. Awww, what a good boy waiting for his dinner. A real cutie too!
  8. Wow! She is so big now. Still a cutie though!
  9. aussielover is awesome with Mindy - patient and gives the pup as much love and devotion as if she were her own. Mindy is well-socialised and aussielover clearly takes her duties very seriously. Mindy has been with aussielover some months now and this definitely isn't a "OMG I have a new puppy, it is annoying and I can't cope" situation. I think even the most patient and adoring of owners is entitled to expression a moment of frustration now and then, especially in a forum where there ARE people who are sympathetic to her situation and know that our dogs can drive us bananas now and then. I adore my little dog and people here know it. If I ever posted: "Argh he's driving me crazy, I'm going to send him to the glue factory" - I doubt anyone would take me seriously ... +1
  10. I'm currently using Great Barko. (You can google it for full details) Keeps weight on my boy, doesn't make him puke like some other kibbles do. I feed less than half of the recommended amount as its all you need, and its only $33 for 22kg bag at my local produce place. If I could afford the holistics I'd probably go with one of them, but I think this is better than the "premium" foods. Go to www.dogfoodanalysis.com/ for a breakdown of the ingredients of many foods. It will open your eyes.
  11. Definately the one proudly sitting in the pile of todays achievements!! ;) My chewer recently got a taste for the kids bike helmets and bike seats. AAAGGHH. I know which one did it, but she doesn't give a shit. She will happily amuse herself by chewing ANYTHING. (it's a lab )
  12. I'm so happy for the owner that this has a happy ending.
  13. Great Barko 20%, raw 80%. (After trying many diff things. Dogs look great, now have 1/4 of the poo's too!)
