l think there were only 3 dogs at GSDCV's ET last year that were not GSD's, so there could be a fair few of us trying for spots considering there could be a number of GSD's . Although l would be upset if we missed out there is always next year Hamish is not two until the 14th of June hence why we decided on this ET. -

Well done today Murve and Orlando too. It will be an anxious wait this week until we know who has made it into GSDCV ET. l am glad they give us a fair bit of notice if we dont make it in considering it's a fair travel for some of us and all the planning that goes with it. Fingers crossed we all get in. -

Doing one of the last few ET's l anticipated there being a rush at the end and the chance of being Balloted out, not much we can do. -

There seems to be a few of us aiming for the GSDCV ET, do you think they will hold another ET if there are too many entries or will they ballot some of us out ? -

Hi Sir Sniffalot,I'll be there and will look out for you. I'll be the one that looks like a judge :)Though not sure of the date, I beleive the Canberra ET will be in September.M l dont think we'll have any trouble spotting you, anyone else doing this ET. Have finally mastered riding with two hands on the handle bars, starting off holding the lead with one hand but we have it sorted now. Where will they advertise the date for the Canberra ET when it is decided. -

Wow this thread is really moving along now. Hamish is going great with his training, 3 x 5km's per week, 1 x 8km's with a 10km on the weekend, he is managing really well and we have had the kids out with their dogs so he can get use to dogs in front and behind him as well as catching up to his place in line incase of a toilet stop. We are going to do the 25th of June ET at the GSD Club Cherry Lake Reserve, Altona. Hamish will be 2 years and 9 days old for it Just wondering what lengh lead are people using ? Is it required to be a certain lengh ? Anyone else doing the Altona ET ? -

Hi all, how's everyone going with your training ? How many km's are you all doing and how often ? We are doing about 3-5 km's every second day just walking and 8 -10 km's on the bike twice a week, with a day off for shows or obedience class. Aiming for a late June early July ET. Really pleased with my little mans progress, by the time we do this ET he will look like the Hulk. -

No, riding on the road with your dog is illegal. We rode past our local police station the other day and one of the officers were outside, l asked him if it was OK to train on the roads around town and he said yeah just remember your helmet next time. Ahhh small country towns. Don't know why l didn't think of using one of his snoods but l still need to work on him moving at a safer distance from the bike. -

What going on with the events calander, it has no shows on it for May, how can l plan what shows l will and wont do if l can't see whats on ? Prefer the old events calander much easier to read too. -
l think our Molly has a low drive, she is a challange to train as nothing motivates her, l would love for her to achieve her CCD title but she lacks the desire to perform the tasks asked, and lacks the desire for rewards, l think this is due to her rough start in life she does not feel he need to interact with us, she knows l wont starve her, no interest in toys or other dogs she is a very low maintance easy going dog. She knows her stuff but a recall is her slowly walking upto me and sitting a foot away, to her she performed the task asked to me l want her to be moving faster and coming all the way to me. Our boy is not high drive but middle of the range he understand getting the job done results in a treat or his fav toy, he is a joy to train, once he knows what's being asked he gets it right and gets the goodies. To me Molly has potential that hasn't been tapped into, hopefully as l learn more l can find a way to approach training her further.
