  1. Very nice l want a green one to match all my other green stuff.
  2. We might stop doing laps of the footy grounds now and get out and tackle some small hills, besides each time we do a lap and get back to the car he slows down as if to say " mum you missed my stop"
  3. Has anyone done the Canberra ET and can tell me what the track is like ?
  4. We are going (from Vic) and a friend from NSW is entering too.

  6. l asked my obedience club (Victoria) on the weekend if they were interested in running a course for the members or incorporating abit of it into our sessions but was told no flat out, the instructors seemed rather negative towards the idea.

  8. Any DOL'er aiming for the Canberra ET ? We done 10 km's tonight with dog #2 and he did great, it's still sometime away but l am excited all over again
  9. Awww, thanks for the pic of Hamish, he did so well, it was a lovely day we will certainly be back next year to support the event with another cocker spaniel. WELL DONE everyone that passed today.
  10. GOOD LUCK everyone for Sat we are looking forward to meeting you all, we should do a DOL photo of us. Done 20km's myself today left Hami at home just wanted to be sure l was fit enough :D . We are heading off tomorrow lunch time for our Motel it's just too long of a drive to do Sat morning then 20m's on the bike then back home.
  11. l have a cocker spaniel and will be doing the GSDCV's ET on Saturday our training varies we generally do 6-8 kms every second day some days we only manage 5-6 depending on the weather we do a 3-5 km walk every 2 day off. We done 7 km's on Monday Tuesday was a day off today 8 km's tomorrow will be his day off and a little 3km walk on Friday before leaving.

We had a problem with an off lead dog yesterday riding around the footy grounds, the little thing came out of no where and rushed us l ended up falling off and Hamish took off and stood about 100m away waiting for the nasty dog to be collected, when the owner got to us he laughed and said his dog was not chasing Hamish he was after the wheels of my bike
  13. Wow 85, the vet took Hami's standing heart rate at 92 but l think that was because he just spotted a cat in the waiting room lol. Congrats for today and good luck for tomorrow.
  14. Good luck to WA's ET'ers for this weekend. We got our vet cert today no charge and Hamish turned 2 on Tuesday so we are all ready for next weekend.

  16. Gosh l remember going to this place with a friend to view a pony years ago and looking at the indoor pool and thinking how could they let it get this run down. From memory her business partner lived on the other side of the railway lines. No doubt Fiona will find somewhere else to live and start collecting animals again.
  17. Just spoke the the GSDCV sec and vet forms have been send they were abit late getting out as there was more than 20 entries so another judge has been appointed.
  18. Oh just checked the email addy but nothing, we have the vet appt booked for Friday so hopefully l can get her to email it to me. Such a lovely day today just done 10km with Hamish, but geez l hate living at the top of a hill the ride home kills me.
  19. When l spoke to the Sec for the Vic one she said if you get a phone call there was a ballot and you missed out, if no call then wait for the vet form in the mail.
  20. Has anyone doing the GSDCV ET got their vet check forms yet ?
  21. Geez l thought we were crazy doing 660km's for our ET but these things happen when you live rural
  22. When l contacted ours to confirm we would be cycling it took several nights before l managed to reach her, just keep trying and at different times too. Good luck for Saturday TrinaJ :D :D
