I'm glad, they have another Malamute and have a yard with large kennel, the dog catcher assessed the yard and people to make sure they where suited, so all in all it's a happy ending for Shadow/Bear

Thank you for posting that information mita!! The dog was priced at $300 but they've dropped it down. They have some people interested and then they have a second option which is to have the dog with a foster carer until they have a backyard or get rid of it (in their words) and get a puppy of a more 'controllable' breed, Malamutes are NOT that hard to control once you have an understanding of the breed.. Like their high pray drive etc.. Hopefully he finds a decent home.

I'm finding out now if the previous owner knows who bred Bear/Shadow, She did say he was mistreated at some stage and she took him in, he used to be so scared he'd sit and wee himself, but he's fine now and when the previous owner had him her 3yr old kid would play with him etc he's very friendly and loving. I don't understand how the girl can ask for money, I've said to her to give him away but she wants money for him and that's even if his life is at risk, i made this thread to try and find him a home before he gets put down!!! A girl i know has an Alaskan Malamute, she got the dog knowing she has no backyard and the previous owner would never have let the dog go if she knew the girl had no backyard, the dog is currently at the pound and needs to go by tonight so i though i'd make this thread to see if there was anyone out there who was interested in getting him. His name is Shadow formerly Bear, He's 1 and a half years of age and not de-sexed, He's black and white. Here is a picture of him, He's Located in Mt Gambier South Australia! This is fantastic!! I feed my pups.. Bonnie dry food (switching slowly over to Science diet sensitive) and a BARF diet (raw food), I also add tucker time puppy into their food, they get fish treats etc also!

I just realised i had not made a thread for my pups! There 4 months 4 weeks and 2 days old, Siberian Huskies ;) I've had Joey since he was 9 weeks and Zarly since she was 13 weeks, Their out of the same litter, Their sire was red and white and dam white and grandfather is black and white he's all American bloodlines but don't ask me to remember names ha ha , They've got all race bloodlines. And pictures where taken yesterday! First up we have Zarly And Joey - Sorry picture over load.

This is interesting to know. However, If you have say.. A bitch and a dog pup out of the same litter how can you wait this 18months or so? splitting the dogs up is not an option!

My pups get necks nearly everyday, just depends! I scatter them all over the lawn in my backyard, they absolutely love it!! My cats join in too! My pups chew them there is defiantly no wolfing down!
