  1. huski - Thank you, I feel much more up to date now.
  2. I have heard of these collars but never understood what they where for and why they where used so I am unsure if i am for or against them, though I am fairly open minded when it comes to the use of 'tools' because anything if used correctly (these collars, electric, chokers, halti's etc) are ok, it's when you have inexperienced people coming along and using them incorrectly which gives things a bad name. Are there any links (didn't see any in these pages, either that or i wasn't looking hard enough) that i could have that can explain these and why they're used etc?
  3. If only you had Gawler River Cattle co. down your way! I love their bones, always meaty and fresh!.. well the dogs love the bones personally i have never tried one :D
  4. I've never had two intact males living together but I do agree it depends on what was stated above!
  5. I agree with what was written above. Don't offer anything but the meat and if she wont eat it within 10mins or so pick it up and put it into the fridge, try again a bit later. With my Sibe it was the opposite, all for raw/bones but not for kibble and it took a lot of patience to get her to eat it. Though in some cases dogs just don't like bones/raw.. kind of remind's me of my horse.. he doesn't like apples only carrots
  6. I get this TOO much, no matter where i go kids are running up to the pups and it really bugs me, especially when kids just start patting them, I do ask them to ask though because if it was an aggressive dog who knows what could happen ~ my pups are fantastic with kids though, not the point! Yesterday we went to watch my partners brother play football ~ kids fotty, OH MY i had to get out of there!! I had a couple of little boys run up screaming "DINGO DINGO" HAHAHAAH
  7. The heat that comes out of the heater! LOL. Although they love laying in front of it (where the heat doesn't come out)
  8. I'm pretty sure i take back everything i ever said about it being NICE!!!!!!!!!!! First time ever ~ dog poo EVERYWHERE!! People even watched their dogs doing it and walked OFF!! I spent a little bit of my time picking it up > : ( AND complaining to my other half. Then some guys husky lays into Zarly.. we had to get him away from her... then he'd do it to other dogs!! urgh, people need to learn to pick up their poo and how to handle their dogs!!!
  9. Yeah too good to be true =[ We have plenty of Malamutes around why bring more into the world??? .. unregistered ones anyway
  10. Ahh bugger ^^ Where abouts is the place you're going to located? sounds like fun!!! Where taking the dogs to the dog wash first and then heading down, it'll be their first time ha ha!!
  11. It was the pound that re-homed him. It's disgusting that they let him do un-de sexed, They are not registered breeders, they are your typical backyard type.
  12. It was a typo, They are Separate
  13. Little bit of an update. Shadow is doing well and has another malamute to keep him company although they are desperate because she isn't de-sexed and guess what? They wont be de-sexing him either because they want to breed them together. both unregistered..
  14. Each to their own! I been there a few times and not seen 1 poo and there was tones of doggies! Saw people picking up too ~ strange. xoxox
  15. Not to be rude but if you dont want to add mince or anything to their kibble and you dont want to change their kibble again, then what were you thinking of doing, genuine question? I might just add a little bit of maceral to their feed and give more raw
  16. I'm sure they did - they mackeral made it tastier! Guess i answered my own question then
  17. I don't want to mix the meat with the kibble!. I want another option! Thanks for clearing that up Huski! They ate it when it had the maceral in it?? Mine have mostly raw i just have the kibble there for the morning xxxx
  18. Thanks for the replies everyone but it's gotten off topic.
  19. Going down tomorrow afternoon around 2pm ANYONE GOING :D Would love people to come join us, husky people too!!
  20. Is there any way you can prove this? Not saying you're pulling my leg, I would rather look into it further :D
  21. ditto. I think they are trying to tell you something. I have them mostly on RAW.. so you think stopping kibble would be best? I have about 3/4 left!?
