any one know of a good online shop to buy show leads/ choker chains etc?- what size would i need for my cocker?

Thanks so much Steph, I will do that shortly, I'm just going to take the pups for a walk. Someone told me there is a lady in murrurundi that shows cockers, I'm waiting for my neighbour to give me her contact details. I will Email the newcastle people and see if they can help.

Hi Dog Showy People, I'm thinking of hitting the show ring for the first time, I have been reading through the thread about dog show training classes, are there any in the country, I'm at Murrurundi which is about an hour from Tamworth NSW. My dog is a Gold English Cocker bitch (Wintergem My Fair Lady). My breeder is FANTASTIC and helps me out with advice, but she is about 9 hours away at Cooma. I have been following my breeders advice about training, but i would love to be able to get some practical time with someone who can show me. Luna stacks ok- not for long though we are working on that. but simply refuses to stand up properly after walking. I am patient and repetitive, i use praise and treats, any suggestions? I would also like to know if anyone knows anybody with spaniels nearby to me who can help me with grooming for the ring, Luna is already quite hairy. I have previously shown horses, and work with sale yearlings so I'm pretty up to date with tricks for shining coats and the use of supplements for coat darkening etc. any advice would be appreciated, I'm an absolute Newby and have been to one dog show in my life.
