  1. X2. I have a dog undergoing chemo at the moment, I , (and most importantly she) don't feel we are being "put through" anything... She has never had a bad day, loves attending the vet clinic, and most importantly is acting 5 years younger after starting her protocol. Yes it is not curative, but while she is happy and suffers no side effects, we will continue. :)
  2. I would also suggest an older dog. I personally wouldnt think of placing a lab puppy (actually any puppy) in a home with 3 children under 5... IF they dO decide on a puppy, be wary of kennels breeding specifically for colour, and advise them to check on after 'sales' follow up service... Having a special interest in rescue I know unfortunately of several of the larger kennels who offer no support/backup once the puppies leave them. Breeding for profit from pet homes only..
  3. All sounds like good positive things! Best of luck with lovely Coops!! :)
  4. So sorry to hear... But I do know of large breed dogs that have had THR with great quality long lives following-) Here's hoping you have pet insurance...
  5. One of mine on incurin, 1/2 tablet twice weekly. No side effects and very effective.

  14. All my dogs get jointgaurd daily from 6 months of age. I'm all about preventative health!!! There has been no testing about use in pregnant/ lactating bitches so I don't use it during that time!
  15. But isn't it wonderful seeing the worthy 'oldies' coming out to gain that ever special CC!!
  16. My oldies all have an injection every 2-3 months. Wonder drug if u ask me, wish I could take it-:)
