Thanks everyone - I will see how she goes tonight and then make an arrangement to get her to the vets. I will try her on some other food and see how she goes. She has always been incredibly healthy aside from her obvious issues, and she has survived a lot longer given her ailments then we ever thought she would. So I guess you don't like to think that she might have a serious problem or is in a permanent decline. At the moment we are feeding her lamb bones, good kibble and either minced chicken frames, or minced up beef/ offal. She loves chicken necks, so I might see if she will have some of them tonight. I wil let you know how we go, and thanks again.

I am hoping some of you may be able to help with suggestions. We have a 12 year old Rotty x Doberman who suffers from arthritis and hip dysplaxia. We have seen her slowly decline this year in particular and realistically would be surprised if she is still with us this upcoming winter. We have just started to notice that she is not eating much at all - perhaps a couple of mouth fulls of food a day, and this morning she vomited up white frothy stuff. She is not terribly active as she is an invalid of sorts, but she always seemed to have a good appetite. This loss of interest in food started a few weeks ago I would say. She has limited bowel movements as a result. Does anyone know what we could do to assist her with eating, or is it all a sign of old age? Thanks Karen

I got my little boxer Bella desexed just prior to 6 months - speak to your breeder if you have any doubts.

I am with Prosure. Top company! No exclusions but I insured Bella at 8 weeks of age. They have so far paid for $150 towards her spay, a visit fand medication for an upper respiratory chect infection and I am just about to claim for a staph infection and vaginal discharge. So far, I have had no problems and they have paid within 2 weeks of me sending the form. I pay just under $44 a month. Bargain.

Unbelieveable!

I don't want to think about it - I have just lost my mum and as a result I will not be going anywhere for a long while!!!!

My boxer Bella is water obsessed also - she loves the beach, the hose, rain (when the gutters overflow, the shower etc... Couldn't care less about the hose when it is reeled up, but as soon as she heres the squeeze noise of the tap when I turn it on, no matter where she is, she comes running!!! Funny thing is, she is not overly fussed with getting a bath - she will persevere through it but it is just as not as much fun as chasing moving water

HI all I was wondering if there were any DOLers on the peninsula who would be interested in meeting for play dates?I have a 6 momth old boxer who is extremely social and it would be great to meet up with others so that we could have a chat and our babies could have some time playing. Let me know if you are interested. I live at Umins but am willing to travel. Karen

this sounds great - me and my little Boxer Bella are in!! Can I also suggest Umina Beach - is an awesome location. Otherwise, happy to travel to Forresters and am looking forward to it!

Little Bella has already been for a walk and a run at the local oval. I am going outside now to cut back some trees (with Bella's help of course), and then I think I will take her to the local doggy beach for a run around and a bit of socialising. It is a gorgeous day here on the Central Coast!

I am with Prosure and have made claims and all has been paid without a hassle. They text you when they recieve your claim and tell you an approximate time for settlement. Very quick, usually within 14 days. I would recommend them without hesitation

I have my boxer insured with Prosure - top cover and costs me $42 per month. They have been great so far - no complaints.

I agree - good on you. Any decent person would not intentionally leave their dog out in such bad weather Thank you for having the guts to do something about it.
