Your aunty's dog was involved in a fight witht he dog pictured? Where are the other witnesses? Did the woman report the incident? Was the wart removal part of your aunt's bill? It does seem very strange.

I wouldn't be throwing anything edible over the fence. You could creat a false fence to keep yours away from the fence. Plant fast growing hedge.

Can anyone tell me who I contact to find out if my microchipping certificate is still valid? All the paperwork is in A box. I haven't implanted a chip for a while so need to check if I still can. If not, does anyone know how much it would be at the vets? I have a neighbour who breeds cats and she doesn't want/ can't chip a kitten she has sold. I want to check before I do it. TIA

That looks right. The drains need to be kept clean and clear of myck. Dog usually has antibiotics for a week. Drain comes out after a few days. The vet should have told you all this. The area looks large because of the shaving thatt's been done. Does th ear have stitiches? Hard to tell. Yes the use anaesthetic.

Erny, you know what we'll all be trying tonight, don't you?

So sad. RIP Doug.

And this debate can to and fro till the cows come home. I had Shepherds when my kids were little. Their temperaments were nothing short of outstanding. I have a photo (of the old style) of my Shepherd bitch with a kitten riding like a rajah on her back. Also the bitch and dog cuddled up with the cat asleep between them.

Poor little Pom.

The Shih Tzu doesn't bark unless it is for a warning, our other Shih wasn't a barker either. The Mini Foxie does when she plays and runs, all part of the joy of living.

He owns his house and has been there a long time. The ACO was told of the problem with him when they visited. He saw that they settled after a warning bark when he knocked at the door and was let in.

This man complained about people sitting outside at 5pm on a Saturday arvo having a chat and a drink. He is not reasonable.

Two dogs who are both friendly, social and generally quiet. The back neighbour likes to stir them up and then complain about the barking. He does such thing as repeatedly bang against the fence, yell at them, hose them and then whinge if they bark. He has complained to council and the ACO visited. I suggested taking photos of him and his shenanigans. Anybody have other ideas?

Would they be open to you offering to bath the dogs? I once rang about neighbours ACD who was tethered to their clothesline during summer. He had water and shelter (from a trampoline) and that apparently was adequate.

Seven was gorgeous. What a great memory to hold close. Sorry for your loss. Smile forever, Seven.

What Would You Do If Your Dog Was Sick

They were both straightforward ops. No expensive medications or procedures before, during or after the op. I know my vets and the quality of care and service they provide and it is excellent. -

We have an account that gets a regular fornightly drop. I was talking to a friend who lives in a different area. Both our dogs had the same after hours emergency consultation and surgery. My dog stayed at the vets for two days. Hers was released the day of the surgery. I paid $360, her costs were $1700!!!! Nearly fell over when she told me. -

Thinking of you. -
Whose place was the bowl of food on? No matter 100acre properties and stock fencing, the dog needs to be contained on its own place. You are way more forgiving than me, I would have reported the bite. Dog's owner sounds like a tool.

Jazzie have no advice, just wanted to say how sorry I am for your situation. You haven't let the dogs down. I hope your daughter and your dad are OK. So sorry for the loss of your mum.
