What a beautiful tribute to your 'monkey'. Run free Herbert. Thinking of you Mark. -
Ring one and they may be ab;e to point you in the right direction if they don't.

How sad.

Actually I know many greyhound trainers. None of whom blood their dogs, even my crazy old uncle. I work with greyhound people. I teach greyhound people's children. I'm related to greyhound people. The exception in my experience would be those doing the wrong thing and I have never met one. Don't know about blowing things out of proportion, but you seem to be doing a good job of blowing a lot of stuff out an orifice. :D

That is a GROSS generalisation. How many greyhound breeders/trainers do you know?
-
Why on earth would they take on a heavily pregnant dog? Or did they find it?
-
Surely you wouldn't have to research what your dog's breeder thinks of your idea? I think people will start to get jack of answering any of your questions if you can't be bothered responding to questions asked of you.
-
So you wouldn't be friends with farmers who farm livestock then, and kill for their own table??
-
I'm just wondering why your dog is not on limited register if she does not meet breed standard? I may have missed what your breeder thinks of you using your bitch for a litter? Are you going to become a registered breeder and do all health checks?

Great to see her in her forever home. Love the pics. edit for silly keyboARD

So you wouldn't count a butcher among your friends?
-
God love his smile!

Do you think we'll ever find out how this is going?
-
Why is the pup outside? What happens when pup is fed? Does he/she come near your friend then?
-
Oh and I bawled our eyes out watching that.

She is gorgeous.

Does that mean he's in the shit? He probably wrote that before his coffee and medication.

At least you got them early. I had a dog poisoned by the slow acting one and didn't know ( we had no poisons here, some a hole dropped it on our property) until it was too late. I never want to see that again, absolutely horrendous for my poor dog.

She just wants him sorted, He is a pet so no need for fancy do's. Clipping him off would bugger his coat? The top half of him, where she has managed some grooming is pretty good. It's his belly and legs that are the big problem. He is a nut of a dog who does not like being inside and will sleep out in the rain on an empty feed bag!

Friend has a largish, long haired, double coated dog. Over winter she has had back problems (laid up) and was unable to groom the dog properly. What with this and the hideous amount of rain, plus the seasonal burrs, the dog is a bit of a mess. Any idea what she would be looking at as far as cost to get him sorted? I offered to go and 'fix' him, but she's seen what I did to my Shihtzu and declined. TIA

Well, who would you blame for a dog not under effective control??? Ronald McDonald? I think not. Of course it is the owners' resposibility.
