  1. Thankyou all for your tips! Camera is 10mp. I had thought about an external HD as well. Are there any to avoid?
  2. Thanks for the answer. What do I look for on the label when I buy DVDs? Sorry for the silly ?s, but I'm learning still.
  3. I have a lot of pics on thumbdrives and would like to put them on to CDs. I attempted to store some of my mum's but apparently 30 photos are too many. I hadn't done anything to them apart from getting them from her SD card to the computer, then trying to save to CD. I assume they were too big. Can anyone tell me how small a file size I can reduce the pics to so I can get them on the CDs at a rate reater than 30? If I do that and want to print from the CD will any quality be lost? Not sure if I am explaining myself very well. TIA
  4. He knows that dog. What's the point? You captured one moment in play.
  5. And you really see LOTS of Labs like that at off leash dog parks.
  6. Um, what about people who trial their Staffords? Trialling requires off-leash work. I'm sure my friends with their trialling Staffords would be unhappy to have give up something that both they and their dogs enjoy.
  7. Probably missed a few. Do you see what time I posted that? LOL
  8. I'd be putting up a fence to keep the dog well away from the front of the property. I wouldn't like to thik these children are throwing things at her. Obviously if their mother had said anything to them it has had no impact. If you catch them throwing rocks at your house again ring the police.
  9. Keep the Faith Careless Whisper Faith of the Heart Whisper of the Heart Whisper Song Almost a Whisper Whispers in the Dark Whispers in the Wind (musical theme)
  10. While people continue to supply puppies to him it won't stop.
  11. Little, old dogs are just as entitled to use dog parks as big, bouncy boofs. It all comes down to responsibility for your dog. I wouldn't like a bouncy boofhead to approach my Mini Foxie willy nilly. She's a friendly, social, little dog (who is not old) but she shouldn't have to cope with rambunctious dogs just because 'they are friendly'.
  12. Poor Bob is hysterical. Poodie has beautiful blue eyes, love her expression in the second shot.
  13. Seriously? Dogs have been fed bones for far longer than dry & other processed foods. It used to be that when a person visited the butcher shop, they would buy the meat for the family and the butcher would throw in the bones and off-cuts for the family dog. Fast forward 40 yrs and now butchers - who used to give this stuff away because it wasn't human grade or table ready - now charge ridiculous amounts for what is essentially unsaleable scrap. Customer service is not what it used to be but guess what? We vote with our feet and wallets and any business that does't treat its customers well will most certainly lose out eventually. When we lived in Cairns, there was a local butcher we had for the dog food only. I had to ask them to make up bags of suitable bones because what was on display wasn't ideal for our dogs at the time. They did it, but it was begrudgingly. I stopped going there altogether and found another butcher 2 kms down the road where the service was awesome and the prices good. :D Glad I gave yu a giggle. 40 years ago there weren't places specifically for supplying pet food, be it run of the mill or the gourmet stuff.
  14. Of course it would be fantastic to find a butcher happy to supply meat for pets. Mine certainly is. He is also happy to keep any off cuts and bones from beasts he has butchered and sling them our way. Point is, no use whinging, take your business elsewhere.
