The whole stolen dogs thing is about a Rescue Group taking out dogs under their Clause 16d for Pound Rounds but not receiving details on where they are going, etc. And the dogs not being signed over legally before being rehomed... honestly, I've lost track. Everyone involved has absolutely done things just a tad dodgy and it's all blown up in everyone's face. And as always, it's the dogs and contributors who are suffering.

Cor!! I want them all. Pickles, especially is a stunner!

I worry about the dogs and the Average Joe reading all of that. The way these people are acting is horrendous. All of them. It's just vile. And everyone else will be left with not just promoting Rescue but doing damage control also.

Sadly, I can't partake. If I show him too much appreciation, it's going to ruin all those years of breaking him down so that now he only sobs into his hands when a dog/several dogs arrive, instead of protesting/threatening divorce.

I think the page is mainly there to show people who the crooked groups are, as opposed to who the good ones are. Though when everything comes down to opinion - I'm not sure a page like it can ever really work. I actually think Facebook is a great resource for rescue. But, like with anything, it can be used to achieve less-than-great things.

Kyoto is growing a little in height but mostly she's just getting a lot stockier. She's gonna be a tank! Renbury visits are always spontaneous but once I've got a day locked, I'll message you in advance! I'll bring some tea.

You were out at Renbury? The one day I couldn't go... And was that Chris? She's amazing. Such a good heart. And yes, I swear I wake up every morning and have to do a double take at Kyoto. She is getting bigger by the minute.

T, I think you've been getting all the good adopters! The amount of people I've had who have flaked out on meeting Kyoto at the last minute because they've decided they're not ready for a puppy (which is fine by me, better now than later) and then the ones who don't want to come and meet her because I've said she's not ready to go yet and will not do adoptions on the same day as a meet, and then earlier I had a lady call to say she wanted to give Kyoto to her mother as a surprise gift. She has someone coming to meet her tomorrow, coming from two hours away, knows how much work puppies are, and understands she cannot go yet... so fingers crossed!

Baha. It seems to have worked... the day I put her profile up, we had non-stop applications. These pups are all estimated to be Lab x's (and there are Brindle Labs too, Kyoto's patches being similar) and my vet sees some Cattle Dog in there too.

I remember those days she was calm and placid and would sleep in my arms like a good little pup. All those couple of days ago. No but seriously, love her to bits. She's got character!

Couple more of Kyoto: I've learned not to walk around barefoot anymore. She jumps out from under the sofa and attacks them.

T, Sonja is going to give you a call regarding the pups. She's been getting application after application after application! Hopefully can steer the others in your direction.

Yes, I know, it's totally my own fault for picking them - I always pick the naughty ones! Yep, sent Dee the photos. She's such a lovely lady, sent me a text and said how much she was missing them. I really wish there were more people in the world like her.

Aw, T. You have such lovely things to say about them. Mine painted their room with smelly poos overnight. Also, wee. Last night I found myself thinking I needed to get back into having more puppies. This morning made me realise why I ran screaming in the first place. :D
