  1. Yeah that's great, what about when they grow up and they're no longer with you, do you care about them then?
  2. In my experience as a pedigree puppy buyer, I thought I was paying a lot of money for a good dog.......wrong Buying from a quality Breeder - you won't know until you have a pup with a problem (maybe you will be one of the lucky ones) Don't believe anything they say about themselves. Also being members of dog clubs doesn't make them good breeders.
  3. Hi, my dog is 12 months old and seems to bark a lot sometimes. It's not a boredom thing, she always seems to be barking at something, either the dog over the fence or a bird in a tree. I am hoping for some advice to stop her barking as I don't want to use a barking collar. I would appreciate advice from trainers or people who know how to deal with this problem.
  4. This is so sad but unfortunately it's not going to stop. I totally agree with Dust Angel that the general public needs to be made aware of the issue. So many people aren't aware of puppy farmers, etc. I also think that people should need a licence for having pets. I agree that only registered breeders should be allowed to sell pups but there needs to be much stricter rules put in place for breeders to ensure that only sound, healthy dogs are bred and breeders don't decide to increase prices because they are the only place to get a pup.
  5. If any animal is aggressively attacking an innocent, non-aggressive animal, don't you think that you would use any means necessary to get rid of it, the person's ability to aim shouldn't be an issue, they did what they had to. I hate to see any animal suffer but we all have to protect our own. I feel sorry for the poor dogs for the owner they were given.
  6. I read about this story a few weeks ago and when I was reading it I thought how could anyone keep animals confined like that, but then when I read further about the RSPCA not only siezing the animals but then fining her I was absolutely disgusted. My belief was that the RSPCA was there to protect animals from cruelty. I would certainly prefer to see them help the owner to keep the animals if they love them, rather than putting the animals through the stress of being rehomed or put down.
  7. That's hilarious Very well trained pooch
