Hello everyone I need some advice. I'm getting a new puppy on Saturday and today I went to two vets (O'Connor and Applecross suburbs.) I asked both how they go about vaccinations and both do them differently. The one in O'Connor does a C5 at 10 weeks and don't have the next one until the yearly vaccination. The vets in Applecross do a C5 at 10 weeks, vaccinate at 14 weeks and do yearly vaccinations after that. Which is the better option for my puppy's health? Thanks

Unfortunately I can't post photos this week as I was sent a video of the pups playing (they're getting bigger!) Will try next week though! Does anyone from Perth know how the airport pick-up process works at the domestic airport? Mine will be flying with Jetpets and I have no idea where to go. :D

I think you misunderstood... I have firewood in my garage and use the axe to cut it. I was worried that the kids could had stolen it, or hurt themselves.

I agree with this. See if you can find a breeder that would allow a family visit to help them understand the temperament of the dog and what to expect. It might deter them from getting one.

Now that I think about it, I actually think it would be a better idea to get the kid a small animal like a rabbit/guinea pig/rat/ferret. They don't need as much attention as a puppy do. Plus they don't smell like a dog.

Do you think they would consider getting an older dog? It sounds like they don't have enough time to look after a puppy.

I'm not a big fan of kids. I found out today from my neighbour that the indigenous kids living down the road play in driveway and garage while I'm out. Will shut my garage from now on, lucky I keep the axe in the house! When my family walks our GSDs we have no issue with kids as parents would be too scared to let them pat the dogs!

Wow you are very organised! I think you've got all your necessities covered; any accessories you want is up to you. Have you thought about getting an ID tag (I'm thinking of investing in one of these, but for the moment I brought an ID Tube) and also maybe an enzyme cleaner like Urine Off to stop the pup going to the toilet in the same place in the house?
