Julie, at the moment I have pendant and earring sets on Commercial Marketplace, as well as quite a few sets of just earrings, you are very welcome to these if you want them. Just need to transfer them to the pacers auction thread.

Interesting reading this thread. When we were showing our Powder Puff we would have loved for the PPs to be shown in a separate class to the hairless, and yes there was a tendency to overlook PPs. It's really hard to look at a dog in full coat and one who is bare to the skin and given that they are the same breed, make an assessment on each type. Our boy had rather large drop ears, as some do. His coat was also not a true veil coat, but rather a very thick coat more like our Tibetan Terriers we were showing at the time. Very outgoing, but he also grew much bigger than the standard so was withdrawn from showing for this reason. Here is of pic of him.

Chicken mince and BlackHawk dry for my dogs, with meaty beef neck bones for their teeth. No gut problems at all. They range in age from 8.1/2 to 14.1/2 so are not young dogs.

I make my own calendars with a couple of programs that I have. The pics are of anything and everything, my dogs etc. That way I get pics I like to look at, and a different pic for every month.

He is gorgeous, and someone will love him for who he is, not what he is. Would not like to guess as they change so much during their first year.

I have a king size bed, and all 8 dogs let me sleep on it. Mind you they pick their spots first, and I get to sleep on what's left. Tara loves to share my pillow. In summer they spread out, but in winter I am outlined by dogs and can't move.

We have bought our doggies some treats (Made in Australia not imported ones, I never give imported anything) The only thing they get from our plates is the chicken meat, no ham, no bacon, or anything like that and they are just fed their regular food, we don't have the problem of guests feeding things they shouldn't, but no matter how many times you tell some people they still don't get it that the dog is not the garbage bin.

Griff, your daughter put together such a lovelyl tribute to Ryan. Beautiful memories to treasure. It was his lucky day when he came into your life.

I'd be looking elsewhere too if it were me. Doesn't sound normal.

Lovely Rach.

My dogs go spak out when we get home, it's all part of their greeting and given a couple of minutes they calm down again. I would never stop them doing it it is their way of showing excitement that we are home with them again.

Talien, don't be too quick to judge a book by it's cover. It's easy to have preconceived notions of different breeds. I've met most of the bull breeds except the Pitty. Get to know some of them, they are sweeties. All depends on the breeder if they are responsible or irresponsible or the owner once again responsible or irresponsible, as to how they turn out, and that goes for every breed of dog.

AAww Marion I love your Xmas sig. Thanks stans mum, making it was a breeze, but had many attempts to get it loaded onto here. Not good with html etc.

Most of my dogs will lick, but I have had scratches on my legs and they keep licking them, they heal fine. Jenna comes up onto my lap and puts her paws on my shoulders and licks my neck all over, it has always been her little quirk.

I like cats, and many years ago I had 10 cats and one German Shepherd, but as time went by and the cats passed on , I ended up with one cat and a lot of dogs. I would love to be able to have cats now, but my dogs would kill them, and cats would also kill the birds and wildlife we have coming here, so no cats. Love the Ocicats and the Bengals.

Good on you little man, you did well. Run free with all your mates at the Bridge.

Lovely video, thank goodness for rescuers. Poor buggars looked like they couldn't even walk properly from being caged up all the time, what a life, and what we humans do to dogs, and animals in general is disgusting to say the least. Their eyes tell the whole story. At least they are now free.

How Can Anyone Think Its Right To Hit A Dog!
Marion 01 replied to whitka's topic in General Dog Discussion
Yep, I like the idea of the 4 x 2 on the housemate. Dogs do need to know right from wrong, but not that way. When my dogs were young and even now, if they have something that they shouldn't have, I just put my hand out and say Ta, I'll have that, and praise when I get it. No dramas, no frightened dogs. -
Clever dog. Apparently he is not used to the power steering yet !!!

I love that story, have read it a few times before and always has the same effect. There are many people who would find life a whole lot better if they had a dog to share their days with.

Do You Cut Your Dogs Nails?
Marion 01 replied to aussielover's topic in Health / Nutrition / Grooming
My dogs are pretty active but still need their nails clipped. I usually clip their nails when they have a hair clip every 2 to 3 months. They have all been taught from 8 weeks old to be groomed and have their nails clipped, ears plucked etc, so are very easy to do. I just use the guillotine type clippers. Quick and easy. -
What Do You Do With Your Dogs When You Go Away?
Marion 01 replied to aussielover's topic in General Dog Discussion
One of us stays home with them while the other one goes, and vice versa., but it doesn't happen very often now anyway. The only other person I would trust is my sister and she used to stay with them years ago, but now she has a few animals of her own and can't babysit ours.
