The curlew is actually sitting down on its 'knees', they just bend the opposites way to ours ;) Mason, good shots ;) Your cheetah came out well too, it was hard behind that mucky glass. Agree with RV, good capture on the Orang-utan :D Some animals seemed happy, but I felt bad for the elephant and cheetah, they seemed to be the most stressed ;) lol, ok here you go

Ok I only met you briefly, but you only looked about 25 Did you start very, very young I was please with Louis, it was mayhem to start with up the top with millions of dogs and puppies registering for the new term, but he coped very well with them all His photos are amazing, have you seen his horse ones? Cool Has Bondi demanded a pay rise yet ;) It was fun, loved the penguins Sorry your migraine came back, hope it clears soon, and hope you hear some positive news about the interview too

Well it looks like a happy ending for the little dog we found just after xmas....I've been keeping an eye on the dogs home site to see if he turned up on there - just spotted him with an 'adopted' by his name 'Barry' at the end - although he didn't seem like a Barry to me http://www.dogshome.org.au/small-dogs/

Cool Just after opening time, about 9:15, before it heats up too much and the animals all just fall asleep

Happy birthday OSoSwift Can't really help I'm afraid as I just get mine the Big Dog or Dr B's patties and supplementary bones. I just pick up lamb ribs and chook necks etc when I see them at supermarkets. Mine are only small though so they don't get through too much

I'd give my right arm for a Xolo, but my two have more than enough issues for me to cope with at the moment :D :D Ooooo I have an idea, Jacqi - I'll swap you two Cresties for a Xolo pup :D Our bill for Daisy's chocolate fest was $2000 for 24hrs :D Typical, we had insurance for them all for years in the UK and rarely claimed, haven't got any over here yet and Daisy has cost us $2800 over the past 3 weeks :D Fingers crossed for your guys Mirawee ST - glad to hear Spartan is doing fine too Hope the pain killers are making Tixie feel a bit better this morning Amy :D Daisy is off for her check up this morning, so hopefully all is ok with her heart etc.

Thanks for the compliments on the flying dragonfly I need to get a second one to make sure it's not just sheer fluke :D I'm pretty impressed with the auto focus speed on my new zoom lens fattima - cool bat I wish we had big bats over here, would love to see some of those in the wild Great photo TN, Good stare Are you measuring the tree trunck, looks like you're holding something across it? It looks like an Iris of some kind to me

FM, I was determined to get an insect in flight too today ;) Luckily the dragonflies were darting round my swimming pool this morning ;) Day 31 You get two from me today though, as while I was shooting a fight started between 2 of them, and the one above crashed straight into the wall behind me ;) It was so sad to see him lying on his back twitching, so I turned him over and swapped my zoom lens to my macro, and got what I thought would be a dying shot ;) I then tried to move him somewhere less open to keep birds away if he recovered, and as I tried to get a stick under him, he flew away ;) I've really enjoyed doing this and seeing everyone's fantastic pictures over the course of the month Maybe next year I'll be brave enough to attempt the 365 ;) I've added my Flickr link to this thread. If anyone else wants to add theirs too, it would be a good way to keep up with your photos now this is ending ;)
