  5. FM and KK - Gorgeous Frencie pics as always I briefly met a Frenchie pup couple of weeks ago - OMG how adorable was it and a lot smaller than I expected too. Catch up time - and I still haven't taken one for this week yet, will have to get snapping tomorrow! Week 36 - Mason_Gibbs new lab puppy Gibbs, very cute and squishy Week 37 - A friends Ragdoll cat. I was pleased with this as it was indoors with no flash, hand held at 1/30sec, iso 2000, so I was impressed with the clarity in the pic. Shows the stabilisation on the lens works well :D

  9. Well apparently Kangaroo tails are barely worth sniffing on first try, but leaving them in the fridge for a couple of days turns them into the tastiest thing EVER
  10. You're welcome MG, it was a pleasure to meet him :D
  11. Super photos What a beautiful bunch of Aussies I took some similar pics of seven Tollers in a row recently, my hat goes of to the owners for such great training I'd struggle to get my 2 to do that

  13. You'd better make it I'm looking forward to meeting dinky Pippa :D Picked up a bag of roo tail chunks today from BP&G - the weasels have not had roo tail before, so tonights meal could be interesting
  14. RoxyNHemi - Tori is a little sweetie We had a lakeland bitch called Grouse on a stable yard I worked on about 20yrs ago, she was such a lovely dog :D Yup I'm still up for it, not gonna turn down puppy cuddles and the chance for some puppy pics :D
  15. Awwww that's lovely to hear :D Having brought 3 from the UK to Oz I can only imagine the paper work and stress trying to get one to China! And I'll never forget the joy of getting them out of quarantine either, lots of happy tears :D Your mum must be over the moon - I'm sure Rover will be able to get away with anything he likes for a while
  16. That is awesome news ptolomy Way to go Moo ps what is a jackpot?
  17. Hard to say as I pretty much swapped them over to raw as soon as they arrived with me. I started it as my cocker pup really wasn't showing much interest in his food around the 4-5 month stage, I read about raw on a forum, researched it and it just seemed to make sense He soon started really enjoying his food again, so the 3 adult rescues that arrived after him got it too :D All I can say is that they were all fit and healthy, no allergies and the only vet trips were due to accidents, not illnesses Although that may have been due to the bracing Scottish climate and regular swims in the North Sea
  18. I was a hardcore RAW feeder with my four dogs back in the UK.....raw green tripe for breakfast, I got deer carcasses, rabbits and goose necks from a local hunter, pigs heads and lights (lungs and trachea) from my dog groomer when she sent her pigs to the slaughter, off cuts and offal from the butchers, and I used to blitz up a veg mix for them and freeze in ice cubes too Over here I have fallen into the lazy option with just the two littlies....Big Dog patties but I also feed lamb ribs, heart and kidney
  19. I was just popping on to ask that too Very cute Alex :D Hope you're feeling better soon RV Poor James, hope he feels the benefit of it later MG I managed to get about 15mins in front of the computer last night, so your pics are progressing slowly - but I'm getting there
  20. Sorry sinta, I haven't used any kennels yet in Perth, so can't advise I'm afraid, hope you find somewhere soon Awwwwww poor old girl, what is it with old chi's? The one we found wandering along the road at 2am was an old male chi, very over weight and overgrown claws. He ended up at Shenton, but wasn't there for long before he got a home Hope 'your' little girl is either re-united with her owners or found a good home
  21. How's your little one ludwig? hope you didn't end up with to much nasty stuff to clear up
  22. Awwww well done Booker Well Daisy had an interesting afternoon.......I got home opened the gate, got the car in, closed the gate and then out of no where Daisy appeared My two are indoor dogs, they have never had to stay outside in their life! After a panicked call to the dog walker (who comes round to let them out for a pee break) it out turns out that Daisy must have snuck back out after she got them back indoors. Daisy is the type of dog who only goes outside when forced, much prefers the comfort of a sofa But today after she let them back in, she had had a moment with Louis on the sofa and Daisy must have gone back outside.......she was only out for about 3hrs and our garden is very secure, but Daisy definitely does not want to be an outside dog
  23. I have felt it on my cats, and can feel it on Louis (no hair) and it is just like a grain of rice under the skin. May be vaccination site? but I would get it checked out
  24. I can highly recommend these beds... http://www.pet-joy.com/shop/beds/doggy_bagg_original/ You can have thick cotton covers, or tough 'teflon coated' outside covers. An XL (St Bernard, Great Dane size) works out to about $120 aus, not sure on shipping to here though, but I got one each for all 4 of my dogs in the UK and they were great beds :D You can buy spare covers and liners etc.
  25. I was so excited when mine arrived too....it seems like forever waiting for the battery to charge Have fun with it and I look forward to your pics :D
