WooHoo, just nabbed the last spot on this course in a couple of weeks time I can't wait, as although I've had my camera for years I've never been on any courses, so am looking forward to learning loads I know there is a limit to what you can do in one day, but I'm hoping it will open my eyes to lots of new ideas http://www.chrisbray.net/photography_courses.php

  7. Lovely macaw DD Ok here goes :D Taken with the kit 90-300, so 'wide open' only goes to 5.6. I like that the flowers are wide open too ;) No editing or cropping, just natural this time, but just learning so please let me know what could be improved ;) eta I took these in RAW and only have Picasa to view RAW at the moment - how come they look so much sharper and brighter in Picasa? Once exported as jpegs they seem to 'dull', any tips for getting round this? eta 2 - duh, just realised it's down to the zoom add-on for firefox zooming the pics once online
  8. I assumed this applied to their dog food as well "I can assure you that no pet food we stock has been irradiated upon entry into Australia."
  9. My grey was terrified of storms She would start shaking all over and got so anxious. We found the best thing to do was let her go where she wanted indoors, and she always headed for our bedroom upstairs. She would go on the bed and calmed down quite quickly. I remember seeing this product advertised, although I haven't tried it myself. https://anxietywrap.com/default.aspx
  10. With regards to irradiation, I emailed this company recently with a question about imported food. http://www.naturalpetstore.com.au/ This was their reply Due to the Orijen issue a few years back here in Australia, no cat food is now allowed to be irradiated upon entry into Australia. The government delivered a ban on the irradiation of cat food in May 2009. I can assure you that no pet food we stock has been irradiated upon entry into Australia.

  19. Please tell me he actually has a waterproof trouser suit. And if so.. pictures? Oh yes, but he won't be needing over here that's for sure One trouser suit, with thick fleece pj's underneath for warmth
  20. They are not precious little lap dogs, especially my hairless one. With his waterproof trouser suit on, he would happily run for a couple of hours through the forests in scotland, easily keeping up with a pack of spaniels And no I don't shave him - it's natural
