i was going to suggest the same http://www.dogzonline.com.au/breeds/breeders/boxer.asp if she doesnt like any of those pups...get her to look at all the breeders, she may find the dog she likes and then make enquires for the next upcoming litter..if they are really interested they can wait for the perfect dog

Oh my god lol maybe they were hinting that there wasnt enough room in "their" bedroom and the futon had to go! I would just shut the door and forget about it until your hubby comes home BTW by your photo...it looks the the one on the left instigated it and the on laying down has that ...they made me do it face...very cute

thats horrible, i have the same thing with my vets, we had a sick cat he ended up passing away 2 years ago on my birthday the vet knew about the fact that he had died and still send out vaccination reminders etc...such a painful reminder to get in the mail

Yet Another What Breed Thread...

You're unlikely to get hands on with a Mini Poodle or get a breeder's full attention at a show - show coats need careful handling. Better to visit poodles in their breeders homes! Well ofcourse, but she can see all the different type of dog breeds she is interested in there and if she speaks to breeders before she goes (like i did) atleast she will know who they are etc etc. i -
Yet Another What Breed Thread...

Hi there, I was in the same boat as you looking for dogs a while ago before i decided on a CKCS, I have a now 4 yo a 2 yr old and a 1yr old, they were really good with the dog. Its worth going to a show an checking out all the different breeds, as i have said in other threads, also allows you the chance to meet breeders and see how they treat their dogs..also some breeders dont sell pups to families with small children..but its worth a look if your really that unsure on what breed to go for -

omg...We did the right thing, and it was only after a week of the dog "being inside" that we noticed the change...he has never reacted to pets before this, and he spent a good while with the dog before we decided to go on trial...its a bit of a surprise, i knew that dust triggered his asthma but had no idea that a dog would. And Cavs being inside dogs even with brushing obviously there was hair lying around..i do love Cavs, and perhaps as the breeder told me, he could grow out of his allergies. I certainly hope so ;) I also feel sorry for Ollie, he really loved my kids, so atleast now he can be re-homed into another family with small kids ...thats all i wish for him -

Hi guys!! I know you wanted to hear whats been going on with "ollie" aka as Christian the dog, Everything was going great..he had settled in really well into our family life, and was my lil doggy shadow My son suffers from asthma , and had been having a few fairly major episodes in the past couple of weeks..the doctor said it may be enviromental and we had pretty much put it down to the dog flaring up his allergies. Ollie was quarantened away from Christian (my son) for a day to see if his breathing got better, which it did..after a few allergy tests with the docs on saturday. it confirmed that he has allergies to pet hair..and appariently Cav's shed quite alot!! Which Ollie did. So after all the heartache trying to find the dog for our family and then actually finding Ollie, unfortunatley looks like we wont ever get to own a dog Its a bit upsetting, and Ollie cried when i had to return him as did my son when i drove off with Ollie -

Hi there!! If your not too sure on what breed to go for, I would suggest going to a show and meeting some of the breeders..its a good start to see their temperaments AND you get to see grooming etc...also good place find a good breeder Good luck though..we just got a CKCS and he wont sleep unless he has had his nightly walk...they really do need the stimulation. -

something to keep an eye on!! He does jump up on me when he gets super exciting..i have to teach him not to do that..he may knock the kids over lol I have definately noticed his personality coming out now..what a cheeky cheeky lil boy!! he tries to get me to wind him up haha...so he runs past me and barks and runs off wagging his tail and does it over and over hehe too cute i think he wants me to chase him ;) Definitely trying to 'incite a game" fun loving personalties! I've often seen Cavaliers described in books as "keeping their puppy playfulness their whole lives". I agree with that statement. With regard to "jumping up on people" that can be a tricky issue. None of my dogs jump up on me because I have taught them this from the start, both German Shepherd and Cavaliers. HOWEVER, they will jump up on my kids (all grown up)and the OH. Why? Because THEY LET THEM! :D Grrrr. Despite discussing rules it is a well known fact that teenagers and soft touch husbands will, even after agreeing, break them! LOL :D I've had to really put my foot down on the NO TIDBITS rule. Citing 'health issues' and threatening them with 'extremely annoying dogs when you are trying to eat something' helped with that one! As i have only had him here 3 days..with food during lunch i pop him outside, and dinner he eats his food inside and as soon as he has finished i let him run around the yard...my kids would pass food down to him if i didnt! hopefully he will learn that when we are eating he is not to be around i sound so mean :D i have taught him how to sit though :D i am very happy with how quickly he has learnt that...no food rewards just lots and lots of hugs from "mum" and i am hoping that once he shows that he can sit always on command that i can use that to stop his jumping on ppl ;) -

Congrats to you aswell My only prob with the breeders was the age of my kids...1, 2 and 4. I think once the breeder where we got ollie from, met them she saw that they werent ratbags...just like i have always said . Cavs are great with children...i think more people i know will get one too -
oh Annabel i completely understand where you are here!!! Ours wasnt a dog (because we only got one yesterday lol) but a cat....he has his pride of joy alfa romeo in the garage...and he "accidently" locked our cat in the garage overnight...the next day i was frantic looking for the cat and heard meowing from the garage...and saw her ontop of his car and scratches all over the paintwork!! i rang "touchupguys" and he didnt get a chance to notice it..they polished out the scratches in no time. then a couple of weeks later..he did it again...and she scratched once again!! they try and blame the animals...but i told him he should be more careful where the cat is and make sure she is not in the garage!!! I hope he gets over it quickly x

I've got a couple of facebook accounts. Facebook, I find, is really confusing and I tend to get very lost. One moment I'm in my facebook, the next I find myself in someone else's and any hint of conversation is disjointed and/or non-existent. Obviously I'm doing something really wrong. <sigh> I need a teenage daughter or son, I think. I'm not of the "computer era" generation. fb takes some time to get used to AND they keep changing it grrr so you dont need to be or have a teenager to help...it really takes time. Julesluvscavs...i just added the dol thing thanks for the link
