  1. I would definatley contact the council or the RSPCA about the cat over population, if the cats have that many fleas they must be very uncomfortable and that is unfair for them. The council would also probably like to know if all her cats are registered, and it costs more to register an un-desexed pet so that might urge the next door neighbours to desex their cats. I know how irritating fleas are and they are horrible to get rid of, i hope that your situation improves soon and your next door neighbours pick up their act! Goodluck
  2. That all sounds like excellent advice to me , I will tell my friend and she can decide weather she has enough time for the walking and the training (going on how much she loves the breed im sure she will make time, lol). Thanks so much for your answers!
  3. Sorry should have added the extra details, She lives in just a regualr suburban home with a medium sized grassy backyard with a patio for shade. She lives with her partner and they do not have any children, however they do visit family with children from about 7 years often. They also have one small maltese male dog who is desexed. She is away from home some days about 4 hours others maybe 6 on weekdays and does not work on weekends. She also intends to take the dog to formal training lessons once a week. Thank you for your reply =)
  4. Hello =) I am asking this question for a friend of mine who is wanting to add a German Shepherd puppy to her family. When she told me I was a little bit concerned as I know that German Shepherds are very intelligent and active. I know that she will be a great owner as she has owned other very loved dogs before. She wanted to know what sort of attention a German Shepherd living in the suburbs would need in reguards to walking time and how long they can be left alone (as an adolescent and an adult)? (after a walk so the dog is tired and with toys like kongs). Thank you =) PS. I have posted a question in this same forum about labrador breeders if anyone wanted to give me their opinion =)
  5. Hi everyone =) I am hoping to be the proud owner of a chocolate lab sometime in the future and I was wanting some personal experience or some information on some of the breeders I have been looking at. Has anyone bought a puppy from the below breeders or had anything to do with them? If anyone has bought a dog from either of these breeders if you dont mind me asking how much did he/she cost? or the average price of a well bred chocolate lab. Lacote Labrador breeders located in the Hills district Sydney Chocmoch Labrador breeders located in the Hunter Valley Also one of the stud dogs has a hip score of 8/8. Is that ok? Sorry about the long question! Thank you for your time =)
